The Posterior Chain and the Abs are two areas that are often too weak. -
Explosive work goes really nicely when combined with positional stability work. The explosive movement will build strength and power in the legs, hips, and back and tax your cardiovascular system. -
The positional stability work includes holding a strong Bent Over Row position, the anti-lateral flexion of the Carry, and the core bracing of the Dead Bug. -
Give these exercises a try and shore up any weaknesses you might have! -

I'd be lying if I said that I was excited to get out of bed at 5 in the morning to go to the gym.. I wanted nothing more than to sleep in 😴 so I tell myself, "I'll go after work." I didn’t make it in until 6:30-7 o’clock in the afternoon 😬also, I didn't record anything today because of all the people but I had a BOMB LEG workout!🍗💥

There is plenty of instant gratification in fitness. Instant gratification can be ok, but don’t settle for just that. Put in the work especially on the days that you don’t feel like it and you will create long term success for yourself...and yes you’ll still get that sweet instant gratification that we all love😂

A common misconception for women is that the only way to lose weight is through cardio. This is not the case. Strength training/weight lifting is not only for men. Lifting does not equate to bulkiness/manliness. Depending on what you do it creates definition. 🌻
Cardio alone is not gonna get you looking like a snack lol. Yes it does get your heart rate up. And you will break a sweat but your body will easily adjust to this and you will hit a plateau sooner than later. 🌻
Weight lifting with the right implementation will challenge your body more than the treadmill ever will. 🌻
Comfort = complacency/safety 🌻
Evolution has taught us to be afraid of the unknown. In the past this was a matter of life or death. But this is no longer applicable in the 21st century. 🌻
It’s time to get uncomfortable. One step at time. Everyone has a starting point. Where’s yours? -Bodyfulofsoul 🧘🏽♀️
Did you know that it’s impossible to breath out of your nose while you’re smiling? ... Ok, it’s actually pretty easy to do, but I’m glad that I was able to get a smile out of you. 🤘🏽
Notice that you feel a little bit happier now than you did 10 seconds ago? You’re welcome. 😊 But actually... Life is a roller coaster. We all have our ups and downs day to day, hour to hour, and minute to minute... But, through all of it, there are a few small cues that we can keep in our back pockets to instantly improve our moods (at least to an extent) during a crappy day. Here are a few of my favorite cues:
1️⃣ Smiling. So cheesy, but it’s actually true.
2️⃣ Jumping around. We all know that a good workout makes us feel more happy, but what if we’re not at the gym? We can get our endorphins pumping fast just by randomly flailing around. 🤷🏽♂️ Just try to not get spotted while doing this. I have on numerous occasions. 😂
3️⃣ Listening to a happy song. Sing along. Perfect pitch not required. I highly doubt that you sound worse than I do.
4️⃣ Taking a short walk outside in the sun, weather permitting of course. A boost of vitamin D is always pretty dope. ☀️
5️⃣ Doing something nice for someone else.
Find a few “instant happy” cues that work for you. Feel free to steal some of mine. I won’t be offended. 🤘🏽 It’s easy to ride the highs through life. But sometimes, we need to right the ship when we aren’t having the best of days. And being able to do this is what will help us to maximize our potential in business, in life, in athletics, etc. Our mood shapes everything that we do. So, if you know what’s good for you, go flail around for a little bit so that you can properly kick ass and take names. 💥💥 #MondayMotivation

So I’ve always seen this exercise done at the gym but was like, how can we take this to the next level? Introducing, your next leg day finisher! When doing a single leg, stiff leg deadlift, you’re essentially only working on your hamstrings. To take this to the next level, instead of just staying here, we’re going to swing that same leg straight up and drop for a pistol squat. At the end of one rep now, you’ll have worked your quads and hamstrings! For an added challenge, with the leg doing the swinging, don’t let it touch the ground!
