Everything is so colorful in Bonao •
☁️ As a child who didn’t know better, I am placed my trust into my parents who in turn have always pushed me to the point of breaking or constantly told me that I need to do better. I guess being a kid, and subsequently a teen, I didn’t really explore how their reaction to any of my accomplishments would affect me in the future. Constantly being told that what you are, what you do is not enough because you should be doing ‘ABC’ is exhausting, it hurts and it could end up fucking you up for the majority of your life. I am ashamed of who I am because of being repeatedly told that I should want to be more, which in turn means that what you currently are is “bad”. I am happy to know that I am aware of my responses, I am aware of the impacts of my caregivers’ actions, and I am actively working through them. Its funny that now, being in my mid 20’s, my parents can’t stop “bragging” about me to others while simultaneously telling me that where I am is not enough?!?! Logic? None. I try to remember that I have severe anxieties around the whole birthday so instead of dwelling on this thought, I would like to write 25 things that I have accomplished in my 25 years that brings me MY pride. I am going to try to battle my brain with flooding of positivity, here we go…☁️
People will never truly respect you if its through fear.
Fear means...they feel like WITHOUT YOU, they are less.
That unless they are just LIKE YOU, they are not as good.
Unless they are in your CIRCLE, they will not be great. •
That is NOT good!!! •
People should respect you because they know you ADD ENRICHMENT into their lives. That, when you walk away from them, you raise them higher, make them feel STRONGER. They dont NEED you. They choose to have YOU apart of their circle because you ADD to them. Not take away, as you walk away. •
Check yourself. Understand that leadership, is about simply changing the world. And if its just ONE person that you meet that you leave them feeling better about themselves... that you see something in them that NO ONE else sees or believes is there...
youre doing it right.
It takes ONE MATCH to create an explosion. 💞
probably have 10 brain cells left from over processing my hair
My last year in my 20s I would be emotional but I’m the kind of girl that will be 60 and still have hot pink nail polish and purple lipstick and rainbow outfits 🌈
So here’s to “age is nothing but a number” 🥂
Ve sen gelsen diyorum. Hayatımın güzelliğine sihirli yumuşacık ellerinle daha da güzellik katsan. Sonra gülümsesen, ardından emeklesen.. İlk dişinin çıktığı an mesela en büyük sevinç çığlığımı atsam. Güzelliğin sonu olur mu ki seninle, minik mucizem.. 👼 #canımkızımkalbim🧡 #ellergöbişe🤰 #annekız🙏🏻 #25weekspregnant🥰

My work as an orthodontist requires frequent and repeated use of hand hygiene products, exposure to chemicals and glove use. My hands are often dry with irritated areas. 😞 Recently, I have been applying the full spectrum #VeritasFarms CBD lotion every morning and evening.
And achieving smoother and softer skin has never been easier! 💥 The lotion has whole-plant hemp extract and ultra-moisturizing shea butter, as well as organic jojoba-seed oil, grapeseed oil, and aloe! ✨
Try it yourself and let me know what your think 💜 #VeritasLife

i was looking for something i had saved in my photo album and came across this picture i texted to ky from a hike we took a few weeks ago. it made me so happy - my own joy caught me off guard. 🥳 i have always been a fun & upbeat positive person sure, but even beyond that... i challenged myself to let go of what i thought i wanted my life to be and how things weren’t going according to plan. that’s when i met joy. you can find joy in any day. it’s one of the few things that circumstances can’t touch! again, it doesn’t happen to some of us or all of us. it is not *only* for positive people. it’s something i try to choose every day and have been trying to choose every day for a while now along with joy’s friend, grateful. anyway, back to my day, but just a random deep thought i had and wanted to share🖤
