So yup, I fell off for a few days.  It happens, rainy day with thunderstorms and just not being in a good mood started it, and I just found myself not prioritizing the gym for the next few. But I'm changing that. Get back in it. 
Got in a 3 mile run today, and back to the weights. I can say it feels good to be back in.  Just keeping on, keeping on.

The speed isn’t quite where I want it to be but I’m slowly building capacity at distances that were once very uncomfortable. 
Programming for Olympic Weightlifting 🏋🏻‍♀️ strength concurrently with 🏃‍♂️Running endurance capacity 🏃‍♂️ has proven to be pretty difficult but I’m starting to slowly see some improvements! Looking forward to more as the summer rolls on 🌞

‼️⭐Para ser bem sincera, o que vai realmente te ajudar no processo de emagrecimento é a DIETA! Esse é o segredo!!⭐‼️

🔴Mas voltado ao assunto do cardio… Hipoteticamente, vamos dizer que vc corre por 1h todo dia. A esteira vai dizer quantas calorias vc queimou depois de 1h de exercício. Talvez 300-400kcal? Então, depois de 1h de exercício, vc ficará SUPER orgulhoso de si mesmo por ter feito isso tudo de exercício. Vc vai querer se dar uma recompensa. Vc vai estar faminto. Como será essa recompensa?! Em comida, obviamente! 😱😬 Porque vc vai pensar “EU MEREÇO COMER ISSO PORQUE EU CORRI POR 1 HORA!!” ▫
🔴RESUMINDO: 
1⃣Vc gastou 400kcal no máximo!
2⃣Vc está com muita fome!
3⃣Vc tem a sensação de que pode comer mais porque fez 1h de cardio!
4⃣E no final de tudo, vc quer se dar um prêmio por achar que merece!!

🔴CONCLUSÃO
1⃣Vc vai comer uma refeição que vale umas 600-1200kcal. 
2⃣Mas, se vc só queimou 400kcal, vc está com uma adição de, PELO MENOS, 200kcal. 
3⃣O QUE SIGNIFICA ➡ vc comeu mais do que gastou ➡ não existe déficit calórico (muito pelo contrário), que é necessário para o emagrecimento ➡ vc não vai emagrecer assim (possivelmente vc engorde assim!)

All this in a in less time than your standard cardio workout.

Using a weight or med ball (mine is 6 lbs) really gets your heart rate up and provides a high intensity option with low impact for anyone who tried to avoid jumping. Choose the one that pushes you to your level 9 out of 10 effort in about 20 seconds.  I suggest using the Tabata format: 20 seconds of work, 10 seconds recovery for 8 rounds (4 minutes total). Rest for about 1-2 minutes then try a second and third set with another movement.  For inspiration check my other recent HIIT posts! .

I love a bit of skipping. I used to be pretty terrible, but I just kept practicing and now I'm pretty confident. When it comes to cardio, walking or jogging on a treadmill is super boring. I'd walk outside, with my dogs, or out and about to get stuff around my area, but other than that, skipping is the way forward. .
This was done with a heavy rope. Specifically, the #legacyrope by @rush.athletics It's one the best heavy ropes ever, and super affordable, and took my cardio and shoulder games to another level. (I also recommend the #moneyrope too). Im also wearing his t shirt, just for good measure. .

Combined a little bit of legs with some back for this workout. Not the type of split I typically do but I honestly really liked pairing two large muscle groups like this together! Made it a challenging workout for sure but my @staunch.nation BCAAs kept me going💪🏻Workout below:

1. Assisted pull ups 4 sets, 8 reps
2. Straight leg deadlift; superset with goodmornings (4 sets, 12 reps)
3. Seated back rows with narrow grip (3 sets, 15 reps)
4. Single leg leg press (4 sets, 10 reps)
5. Close grip lat pull downs (3 sets, 8 reps) 
6. Kneeling squats (4 sets, 12 reps)

Co jsem dala dohromady od operace kýly, chodila jsem cvičit akorát před prací do jednoho malého fitka a upřímně už mě to nebavilo tolik, jako dřív. Před nedávnem jsem ale objevila Form Factory na Karlíně a konečně chodím ráda cvičit i ve volnu 🤩 S celým tréninkem, včetně kardia a se zaslouženým relaxem v bazénu, vířivce a sauně, jsem tam schopná strávit pomalu půl dne 😅
