If you’ve ever been curious about how you can reduce your household waste, you should pop over to Sans Market in St. Pete. They have everything you need to make easy swaps to more environmentally friendly products... I personally snagged myself some metal straws, re-usable grocery totes, bamboo toothbrushes & deodorant in a jar. (WOW - the simple things we can do to be less wasteful.) While you’re there, check out this cutie sign that I made from repurposed wood. 😉
I just love these small hand painted catch all’s..whether it’s these protea flowers or my sunflowers, they are the perfect size by your bedside or vanity for your rings and things. Available in my Etsy shop $35 including free shipping! Happy Sunday 🌸🌷🌸
And a super drippy vase for the same client! Hope it’s not too drippy for you @misscjmccarthy 😀😀
The bag has been a big hit today! My daughter has been using it to carry her orange around and other toddler essentials😄the #grannyinagrannysquare pattern by @sewing_the_seeds_of_love is coming very soon👵🏻I used a simple granny square for the back panel and added a sparkly silver strap using @paintboxyarns cotton dk

Closer up of one from yesterday...these colors 😍 Feels a little more fall-ish, but I’m preparing for a 100 degree day over here🥵
Periodically I take a break from my day job to have some solid time for my clay job... it’s joyful to be able to focus my attention, work on the to do list, explore, become immersed and just make... all at my own pace (this is what I’m working on... being gentler with the whole thing) after all its still a holiday!
All to *hopefully* have a smoother lead up to the busyness of winter (note the lack of the C word...but my brain is totally all over C time ... I almost felt the need to watch a C movie whilst making C stock! Don’t worry I didn’t! It’s August!) Anyway all the makings and product development is happening and it is exciting... YAY FOR CLAY!
We made these prints in poster size for a child's ocean themed bedroom but it would be equally sweet over a crib in a nursery or even over the bed in a master bedroom. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This print is currently 25% off in our Etsy shop (link in bio) through Sunday! 🐠🐠🐠🐠🐠🐠🐠🐠🐠🐠 UPDATE: You guys are all awesome and we couldn’t pick just two so we are giving away the digital files to: @little.miss.matilda @sarah.h.fitness @sarabi93_ @theclassicgiraffe@samhoneyb2@oceandol85@jessicamperez@nixstern @felt_fantastic @missouri_marine_mom . Message us with your email and we will send you an invite to the files. 💙🐟
Tomorrow we head to Cape Cod! I hope you won’t mind all the beach and lobster pics coming your way. We have a house sitter who works remotely, so the dogs will be in heaven having someone home all day. They’ll be disappointed when we return and things return to normal. So will I, but let’s not think about that now. 😔
This texture is proving to be the most popular among my made-to-order items so far. Thanks so much to everyone who has stopped by my shop to check them out, and of course for your purchases. It’s so nice to have a permanent catalog of wares available rather than the make-list-sell-ship=empty shop routine. Don’t worry! I’ll still be doing shop updates with ready-to-ship pieces and sharing work in progress shots. I’m really missing my clay right now and cant wait to get back in the studio. But first, lobster. 🦞
I lay awake last night thinking about the upcoming changes to my business, the big switch to made-to-order, and all the challenges and opportunities it might bring. (The fact that a screech owl was freaking the dogs out at 1 am might have helped my “awakeness”.) I started second guessing my decision, but as soon as the sun came up, I felt better and added more designs. 🤦🏻♀️ Changes, and screech owls, are less scary once the sun comes up. ☀️ Made-to-order launches Thursday and I’m ready for it!
Made-to-order starts tomorrow! I’ll open up the shop in the morning - probably as soon as I wake up because I’m four years old and have the patience of a small child. 👧🏻 You’ll have plenty of vases to choose from and cups in a few different styles as well. For the first two weeks, domestic shipping will be free on orders of three or more pieces and for more petite orders shipping is very reasonable. It’s a straight pass through from USPS and calculated based on weight and distance. I can’t wait to see what I’ll be making next. It’s all up to you now!
LOVE virtual blankets - they are growing so fast 😍 #grannysquareday2019
👋 and thankyou to all the people who find their squares in my blanket - i feel toooo lazy to tag .. 😅
And all others that made and shared their beautifull squares tiday 😘
And thank you Susan @suregal27 for creating this marvelous day 🧶🎉
Last week I had the opportunity to chat with the unbelievably cool and creative Amy from @knitcollage and I’m so excited to announce that you can now catch our whole convo on her podcast, Collage Creative! 🎙🧶🎨
I’ve been admiring Amy’s style and drooling over her gorgeous yarns for years and it was such an honor to get to share the story of Two of Wands with her. We talk business, daily life, and self care, and hopefully I didn’t stutter or go off on too many tangents 😂🙈
Visit the link in my bio to listen (or find the Collage Creative podcast wherever you listen to them!) ❤️
PS this is the fourth crochet pattern included in this month’s pattern suite. The Eastwick Wrap is one of the most relaxing and satisfying makes! X
The Coffee Shop Wrap. Little did I know when I designed this as my first top down knit shawl that it would be one of my most successful patterns to date. I can’t tell you how thrilling it is for me to continue seeing these babies made, and I’m so many different yarns and color combos.
This pattern was an obvious choice for this month’s Road Trippable Projects discounted pattern suite due to its repetitive stitches and addicting color changes. Visit the link in my bio to check out the other patterns included and to shop both the knitting and crochet suites ✌🏼
