We all know about #bullying the problem it causes, ect. It's at the point kids are killing themselves. While often we're quick to judge the behavior of others it's time we start evaluating the biggest bullies.. #YouAreYourOutcome
Huge Happy Birthday to the most kind, beautiful, genuine and talented human being on this world! Please wish our dear Hugo @artistichugo happy birthday 🌹👑 Thank you for inspiring us. We adore you today and forever!
We each have patterns we over identify with or lean on to feel safe.
We like the ones we identify with and often overlook the compulsive, dysfunctional ones.
In my opinion, all of them should be investigated for how they serve us in knowing deeper truths about our nature.
The ones we over identify with tend to fragment how we view ourselves, safely pushing things out of our awareness that we don’t want to claim and keeping what we like at the forefront.
This creates a distorted view of ourselves.
In our most whole version of ourselves, we move through life like a perfectly balanced wheel.
We roll forward continuously bringing our whole self to each moment without any compensating behaviors detracting from the best that each moment is offered.
This is the goal of a spiritual journey/awakening.
But when over identify with part of our nature and push different parts out of our awareness...
...the perfect wheel that we naturally are becomes imbalanced through our distorted identifications, triggers and resulting compensating behaviors.
Instead of bringing our whole self to each moment, we bring a fragment, where this fragment varies depending on whether or not the circumstances trigger our insecurities or create a sense of safety for us.
The compensating behavior is further varied based on the perceptions and inclinations an individual holds.
And things are more compounded and convoluted the more variables that are introduced (like the other people in the situation and their particular distortions).
But if we see our capacity to reclaim power over how our wheel rolls, we can change things tremendously.
It starts by owning that you’re personally in control of your wheel…
...which means you can’t blame circumstances or others for why your wheel has been rolling wonky.
You reclaim your power by releasing others from the power you gave them/they had over you concerning your unconscious reactions/distorted patterns.
This is how you reclaim your free will. You heal your unconscious inclinations. Otherwise you’re at their mercy.

Sometimes, when I’m quietly working... I wish I can call my granny and tell her all the great things going on in my life and how I’m positively impacting others.
Today was one of those days that I wished she was the first person that I called. “I am created with purpose for purpose on purpose.”

I was counting the stars tonight
when someone asked me, “How do you not harden under a dark sky?
The distance is so wide between the light,”
I couldn’t help but notice
that the same starshine
was reflecting across the surface of their wine
I said, do you see, there?
How what is set above
comes to us below?
How we cannot escape it?
How there is no off switch for this glow?
I ... I have softened into that equation
That A to B
I have found comfort
in this feeling of geometry
This inability to escape what is meant for me
I have collided with a familiar star
Call it North
but it is not set in the sky
It permeates the space between galaxies
It does not need a name
It does not need to be solved
because it is x, y, and z
It has become the answer
to my everything
You, I whispered
after everyone had left with the night
You are my solution
This life, our equation
I am just a scientist
I do not know the when’s
I only know that math
I see everything
and it is you
You are a fabric woven
into of all my timelines
I have surrendered
to God’s addition
when they ask me about the night | megan rose
Your teen years can be some of the most amazing yet difficult times of your life. You're caught between two worlds. You feel like no one gets you which leads you to feeling powerless at times. How often do you feel misunderstood? #lifecoach#coachforgirls#teencoach#teenquotes
Do you ever have those days when you feel really pretty? Like so beautiful and you want to capture it to treasure that feeling forever? And then you take it, and no angle ever looks good enough? Well I do. That’s the story behind this photo. It was taken a few months ago but this is still what I look like. 📸
My birthday was yesterday - I turned 23 🥳 I’ve been looking forward to this new chapter for a while now. Each year of my life holds something special to me. Good memories and bad. The last 2 years hold a lot of bad memories for me. Years 21 & 22 weren’t great to me, honestly. I made many poor choices and decisions, I’ve hurt people, and myself. Right after my 21st birthday, I met someone who changed my life forever. He was the most horrific person I’ve ever met. He hurt me minute after minute, day by day. His goal was to suck my soul out. I want to say there was nothing good about him. However, he taught me many things I didn’t know about myself. His goal (like many people who are a narcissist) is to take away happiness, joy, self-confidence and self-esteem. Because they don’t have any. For many, many months, I allowed him to. Then I realized, I wouldn’t let him take ANYTHING from me anymore. I wouldn’t listen to the criticism or comments - I had enough of those in my head already. It’s been almost a year since I’ve spoken to or seen him 👏🏼 If you’d told me a year ago, on my 22nd birthday, that one year later in 2019 I would have moved 2.5 hours from home, be living in my own apartment with MY name on it, have a job that I really enjoy (and has helped me get out of my introverted shell), almost have my car paid off, have so many friends I can’t keep count, and have a wonderful man in my life who helps me grow + live in positivity daily ... I would’ve laughed 🙌🏼 Last year, I was in such a dark place. I barely had friends, and most of them were toxic. I had a job I didn’t like going to (which I later ended up handing in my 2 week resignation). I was drowning in debt. I lived with my grandmother - after living with that horrible man. I was so depressed and anxious every single day I wouldn’t get out of bed. (More in comments)

- getting up close and personal w this months @kinderbeautybox.
last night, I met a girl who asked me for advice on “how to be happy”. She said she struggled with confidence and often feels stressed by the idea of success. ...as I continue to navigate life myself, there’s a general piece of advice I’ve learned that has helped me feel my best - take care of yourself.
Get very clear about the kinds of activities that make you feel alive and help you disconnect from outside pressures. Sometimes we forget how important the simplest things can be to living a balanced life: sleeping enough, working out, good nutrition, even laughing.
Secondly, ask yourself if you’re making kind choices. Are you giving back? Adding value to your family or the community around you? Are you smiling enough?
I wanted to use this months @kinderbeautybox to remind people just how special we all are. By showing yourself love + care you’ll be able to offer so much more to the things that matter to you.
If you subscribed to @kinderbeautybox you’ll be receiving some of our favorite #vegan self care products, and hopefully when you use them you’ll be reminded that you’re not only taking care of yourself but you’re also helping us give back to a #crueltyfree organization trying to make kinder choices in a big way.
That’s #consciousbusiness ♥️
When you feel like giving up, remember this.
Remember that your left lung is smaller than your right lung, simply to make room for the heart you hold within your chest. At your most primal level your heart was favored, it took precedence. It will never be incapable of growing, it will never cease to hold the whole damn world within it, so do not try to stop it.
Remember that you use 200 million cells to take one step forward. Do not vilify yourself for the journey you have walked thus far, for it has taken effort and every single aspect of your body has conspired to help you get to where you are.
Remember that you shed your tired skin every twenty-seven days. You were not made to hold your past within you, you were not made to carry it all on your back. You physically let go of every bad thing that has ever touched you, of every pair of foreign hands that unbuttoned your shirt but never your demons; you let go of every regret, of every insecurity. You are always gifted a clean slate.
Remember that your tongue is the strongest muscle in your body. You were made to speak — so speak loudly, and honestly about how you feel. Speak about what hurts you, about what has broken you. Speak about your story, share it with the world.
Remember that the carbon in your body is the same carbon that courses through this Earth, that makes up mountains. Let this remind you that you can stand alone, you can stand tall, for just like Everest, just like Fuji, you are a force to be reckoned with.
Remember that the bones within your body are as strong as granite. You are never broken, you are never weak. When you feel like you couldn’t possibly bear the weight of heartbreak, of growth, remember that your foundations are stronger than concrete. You were made to endure, you were made to withstand.
Repeat after me: you were made to survive. Every single part of you, every single perceived flaw and every single aspect of who you are, was made with the intention of defying the odds. You were bred from tough, celestial pieces of this world, and therefore it will never be able to defeat you. 💛
