~ Chocolate overnight protein oats 225 calories and 18 grams of protein per serving~ super easy to make (the hardest part -protein buddies will attest- was mixing the clumps out of the protein)
Here is the recipe if anyone wants to try
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 cup rolled oats
1/4 cup (1 scoop/ 32gm) chocolate protein powder
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 stevia packets (the main recipe calls for maple syrup- agave would be a good substitute instead of the maple syrup too if you are looking for a lower glycemic index)
mix well and split into two containers. Leave overnight and enjoy in the morning or within 24 hours. ENJOY! 😉🤤 #rolledoats#protein#healthyeating#fitfam#recipes#almondmilk#isolate#healthyfoodchoices
This post is going to be a little bit longer, but I feel like it will be worth it.
I try not to weigh myself much, but lately I have been doing it every couple days. I’ve noticed I’ve gone from 205 (so freaking close to being in the 100s!!!) back to about 215. This has been low key discouraging for me, but motivating as well. I’m thinking gosh, why am I not losing any weight?! I’m working so hard!!! I realized I hadn’t done a progress photo in the same outfit/pose in a long time and I found a photo from almost exactly two months ago and decided to recreate it tonight after my workout.
I have lost fat. I have gained muscle. I have gained weight because I am exchanging fat for muscle. My BMI is lower, my clothes still fit a little looser every week, my body feels stronger every day. I AM NOT FAILING. The number on the scale is ultimately just a number. The change I have made in the last two months is a full body one, an endurance one, a lifestyle one. You have to keep going even when you don’t feel like it. Giving up when it feels hard won’t get you anywhere. Keep pushing. Keep trying. Keep succeeding. #fitmom#fitness#cardioworkout#betterformyboy#goalcrusher#cardio#fitnessmotivation#fitspo#fitnessgirl#fitnessaddict#fitfam#fitspiration#fitnessjourney#fitstagram
And a huge shoutout to my biggest fan and motivator @dschultz083 for keeping me grinding every day 😘
🎉5️⃣0️⃣🎉 Congratulations to Sarah, who was our first member to reach 50 sessions at The Studio since we opened in April!! 🎈🎈Yesterday we had a party to celebrate and the theme of the workout was... you guessed it, 50! 💪🏼 50 reps of every exercise you could imagine 💪🏼 Sarah has been so dedicated to fitting her workouts in and prioritising her health and fitness while still juggling life with the 3 small children!
She has even set herself a new goal of running the City to Bay with us this year and joining our training group. We can’t wait to watch her smash this goal and prove that if you want something enough, anything is possible.
We absolutely love seeing our clients and members reach milestones and we are so proud that Sarah is our first of many to have enjoyed 50 workouts with us at The Studio at West Beach.
We will be using our 50 session milestone as a bit of a get to know you of our members as we think you are all legends who we love training every week! 👊🏼 So, lets find out some training facts about Sarah 👇🏼 Q. What is your favourite session of the week?
A. Monday 9:15am session as I like to start the week off right. 'Never missing a Monday' 😉
Q. What is your favourite exercise?
A. My favourite exercise is anything ab related.
Q. What is your least favourite exercise?
A. Least favourite is definitely burpees, I can't do them.
Q. What are the main benefits you have noticed since training with us?
A. Main benefit is that I can do a lot more than I think I can with the help of you pushing me.
A lot of you know Sarah from our sessions, she is super dedicated, hard working and committed and makes pretty cute babies 😉😉 Please take the time to congratulate her on being our ‘FIRST TO FIFTY’ 👏🏼😘
The first picture I took while in college (well before I dropped out LOL) and I was extremely depressed. I believe that was the lowest point of my life so far. I cried every single day. I couldn’t sleep. I would go to sleep at 4am to wake up at 7am to attend my classes. I was living by myself in a different city when I was just 17. A lot of people see failure when I say a dropped out of college and honestly, I get that. But if you are unhappy with what you’re studying, with your life, and with YOURSELF you’re the only one who can call it quits. You’re the only one who can change that. I dropped out of college to focus on my mental health because I knew how bad it was. I couldn’t afford tuition and I couldn’t afford rent. I had my moms support to go back home and dropped out of college so I did. I was supposed to be graduating next month but never for a minute I regretted my decision. I still stand by what I decided 2 years ago. I’ve accomplished so much I wouldn’t if I had stayed there. First of all, I had a lot of therapy to do. Then I changed the way I saw exercise because it wasn’t only something to help me lose weight but to make me stronger not only physically but mentally too. Then I decided to lose weight. I got my drivers license. Now, I’m on waiting for the approval for my skin removal surgery. All of these things I wouldn’t be able to accomplish if I was still in college. I’m glad I made that decision when I was 17. Everyone has their own timing in life, so if anyone ever think that they are being “left behind” or feel like they should be in college or they should do whatever everyone else is doing: u really don’t need to do that if you don’t want to. Do it in your own timing. I believe in you and I SUPPORT YOU. (If anyone ever need to talk pls message me!)
It’s #motivationmonday !!!! Today is the day to start taking the stairs instead of the elevator, order a side of veggies instead of fries, and the day the set the tone for the rest of the week! Small changes will make big #RESULTS !

A picture came up on FB yesterday that really made me think how far we’ve come. 5 years ago, we were at a bar at CMU... enjoying a typical evening at the bird. The comments on that picture each year were about how we needed to have a reunion because we hadn’t seen each other in so long. From the moment that we actually made that happen, from the moment that I saw you again, I knew that you were my person.
From a friendship that started 9 years ago to a love of a life time... I am so so thankful for you. I am thankful for how we have grown up together, made a life together and continue to fall more and more in love with each other every day. And by no means is everyday easy... if it was, I’d be worried. But everyday we learn how to communicate effectively, how to work together and how to love each other in ways that the other needs to be loved. We continue to grow individually and as a couple... to push each other and to challenge each other. I love you for everything that you are and for everything that you help me to be. I love you. Forever and always. No matter what. *
PS I can’t wait to be your wife!
I'd be lying if I said...
•"I'm always motivated"
•"Oh, it was easy"
•"I knew what I was doing the whole time"
•"I was never intimidated"
Those are 4 of the most asked questions that I get.
Now let me tell you, I'm hardly ever motivated, it was and still is hard af. I was fucking clueless and intimidated af walking into the gym for the first time.
But guess what. It didn't stop me. Don't let it stop you either. Strive to be the best version of you. You deserve it. #motivationmonday
Where can I start? This lady right here, is remarkable. I want to thank you once again for allowing me to train you. I pushed you to the limit each day, but you didn’t quit because you knew you had your family behind you. You told @igotgame12_ you were going to do it, and you did it. I’m so proud of you. Continue to be you, and shock the world. The gym and I are waiting on you 😅💚 WE ARE NOT DONE YET ‼️ @jlspox@teemorant
