Yessir! It’s almost time to get into that prep season mode!
Definitely ready to put my all into this one!
My boy @richhitz came through with the nice intro!
I think it’s time we link up again this season! 🔥📸
‘Youth is such a wonderful thing. What a crime to waste it on children’ - George Bernard Shaw.
When we are endowed with these lovely youthful traits, we waste our time focusing on what we don’t have. By the time life starts ravaging our appearance, we only then seem to develop the steely resolve we perhaps should have had way back when. Do I want my youth back? Ehhh, not really. I mean this young girl is beautiful, but I dare say even more so with the assistance of photo shopping technology. She probably had a zit on her nose during this shoot, and you and I are none the wiser.
When that oblique line pop like that.... like sh#!t here. That’s when you know you in that zone. GET HARDER
Success doesn’t come from 1 big time performance or “making it big”
People of success don’t neglect the small daily disciplines
They understand the importance of momentum and being great at doing the “small things”
Anything worth having is never a sprint, it’s a marathon. .

So I’ve been doing pole for about 5 months now. About 2 weeks ago I decided I was going to give myself a 60 day goal to get into two moves. Tonight I got into one of them. Finally got into “Superman”. The other one is “butterfly”. Love all of the support from my “pole sisters”. Thanks guys 💕💪🏻 @ironxpolefitness
You know me! I’m all about REAL health! I don’t believe in a super stringent diet or exercise plan. In fact I hate the word DIET. It has the word DIE in it!🙈🤣🤪 But I do believe I know how to lead you to a life of TRUE SUSTAINABLE HEALTH! After 21 years in the health field, training and leading people in fitness and wellness, with my degree in kinesiology, and my absolute LOVE for watching people transform their health, I am excited to be releasing a more mindset focused approach to YOU achieving the kind of health that lasts. Of your mind’s not right, your habits are not in place, and you haven’t uncovered where your behaviors are coming from, you won’t EVER make lasting change. For me, health mindset has been the secret to maintaining and sustaining my health after 6 babies, into my 40’s, and through years of transitions. •

A new moon
Wrote love and gratitude
Drank water from jugs.
Lost a broken ballet shoe.
and self onto my legs
and thighs. Pummeled
my hips. Chanted 'hold
your power' on the top
of trees and 'I am
my own person'
to the roots and trunk.
Made a crown of cinnamon
and wine. Opened with blue.
My womb and a new
moon. There is purple light.
I have a spine.
Did you know that it’s impossible to breath out of your nose while you’re smiling? ... Ok, it’s actually pretty easy to do, but I’m glad that I was able to get a smile out of you. 🤘🏽
Notice that you feel a little bit happier now than you did 10 seconds ago? You’re welcome. 😊 But actually... Life is a roller coaster. We all have our ups and downs day to day, hour to hour, and minute to minute... But, through all of it, there are a few small cues that we can keep in our back pockets to instantly improve our moods (at least to an extent) during a crappy day. Here are a few of my favorite cues:
1️⃣ Smiling. So cheesy, but it’s actually true.
2️⃣ Jumping around. We all know that a good workout makes us feel more happy, but what if we’re not at the gym? We can get our endorphins pumping fast just by randomly flailing around. 🤷🏽♂️ Just try to not get spotted while doing this. I have on numerous occasions. 😂
3️⃣ Listening to a happy song. Sing along. Perfect pitch not required. I highly doubt that you sound worse than I do.
4️⃣ Taking a short walk outside in the sun, weather permitting of course. A boost of vitamin D is always pretty dope. ☀️
5️⃣ Doing something nice for someone else.
Find a few “instant happy” cues that work for you. Feel free to steal some of mine. I won’t be offended. 🤘🏽 It’s easy to ride the highs through life. But sometimes, we need to right the ship when we aren’t having the best of days. And being able to do this is what will help us to maximize our potential in business, in life, in athletics, etc. Our mood shapes everything that we do. So, if you know what’s good for you, go flail around for a little bit so that you can properly kick ass and take names. 💥💥 #MondayMotivation
But first you must take a leap of faith.
I’ve been working on a lot of new stuff lately... One of my goals been to dive in fully into one of the things I love along with dance... fitness. I’ve dipped my feet and now I’m ready to swim into it. All or nothing. No more 50 percent goals. I’m going to be bringing it more into my social media and starting this Friday, I will be sharing my favorite exercises. So whether you’ve worked out once or twice in your life or you live for working out, join me on this journey and let’s better ourselves in all aspects of our lives. So much love. ♥️♥️
I told myself a few weeks ago that I would start #75hard the day after summer smash... so here we go.
I am not going to lie.. after a LONG night of flight changes and pretty much no sleep.. I reeeeeaally thought about “starting tomorrow” because I was too tired...
But then I thought about it... and the whole point of this challenge is to accept the fact that you can’t control the conditions in your life, but you can control what you do.
TODAY is day one.
I’m doing this.
I know if I wait until I am 100% ready and 100% prepared it will never happen!!
So I’m going for it right now!
75 consecutive days of...
✮ 2 workouts (one outside - 45mins)
✮ No cheat meals
✮ No alcohol
✮ Drink 1 gallon of water
✮ Read 10 pages
It’s definitely called 75hard for a reason... but I’m up for the challenge.
pick’n and choosing
The only time I take off my sweatshirt during the day is when the pump is just simply too filthy not too...
🖊Remember that happiness is a way of travel, not a destination...
▫️5 days out and honestly feeling on top of the world, sure my body is beat down and my legs feel like 100lb dead weights at this point, but it’s all going to be worth it just for the opportunity to step on stage this Saturday...
◾️Today I had a thought that I didn’t think I would ever have and it was that “I’m sad prep is going to be over” (I know crazy right?!?) but there’s just something about the journey and hard work it takes to complete something that never in a million years you’d think you’d ever do.
▫️Also, it was my last day of training at the gym I call home (@ironphysiquegym ) and honestly I was very upset scanning my key fab one last time as I walked out the building. I cannot thank everyone there enough for the environment that made it “easy” to want to train every day for this show. I will be proudly wearing my iron physique track suit up until the second I step on stage and show just how much hard work has gone into this.
◾️I guess moral of the story/post is to enjoy every second of the journey you embark on, there will be days you’ll want to stop going, throw in the towel, etc. but I guarantee you that stopping is way worse than just pushing through whatever task stands In your way. Oooo and side note the journey becomes a hell of a lot easier when you surround yourself with strong people and a good environment!
