June workout 17/30 💪🏻 Cardio & Meg day today. Make sure you go to the post before this to see my finally do a somewhat steady single leg deadlifts with a 20 lb kettlebell 😭 I haven’t been feeling strong at all lately or felt any changes in my body, but this shows me I’ve been progressing so much more than I realized 😭
I’ve also thoroughly enjoyed doing my cardio during lunch break tbh. It gives me time to wake tf up mid work shift as well as binge watch some of @handmaidsonhulu 🙃 hopefully I can keep doing it that way cause I enjoy getting home in a timely manner so I can meal prep, shower, & have some relaxation time before bed 💕

This yummy spread is an entree from @cusisnebyclaudettes where you have the option to choose a protein and one or two sides. I was feeling hungry so got the pulled pork with a side of mashed potatoes (duh) and mashed turnips! It was amazing and I’ve never had a reaction to my #celiac from going there! ~~~~~
Let’s get real for a minute! It can be so hard to find restaurants that have menus that cater to restrictive diets. It’s been so encouraging to see the progress being made but it can still be a challenge. That’s why it’s so important to be willing to be your own advocate and speak up for your dietary needs — even when it seems inconvenient, it’s for your health and definitely worth the additional 30 seconds of explanations! Besides, if the people you’re with or the restaurant you’re at won’t deal with your needs they aren’t worth your attention or money!

Starting Monday off with a bang💥
One of my goals for 2019 was to step out of my comfort zone, life is way to short to stay in your everyday routine. Well, tonight I had my first kickboxing class and I had a great time. Great cardio, got to take out some built up anger, and I got to do it with my sisters!
I also decided that I’m going to compete in powerlifting this fall! I’ve been on and off about this for awhile but comfort zones were meant to be broken right? So cheers to a productive Monday!
Past couple of weeks I felt like I was in a workout rut, I wasn’t really enjoying my workouts as I usually do and was just doing it because I know I should. I made the leap to try something new and today I started a new workout program, my excitement is back and I can’t wait to see the results 💫 .
The left was my high school graduation at a cool 260lbs or so 😳
