Celebrated the birthdays of two awesome men yesterday! Cooked up a New England Clam Chowder, Coq Au Vin, Twice cooked Pork cheeks(Sous Vide then deepfried) with a Chipotle mayo. @lingthenutfactory brought charcuterie and Burrata and @nowiswen brought the goods with some venison bone marrow and really good bread from @chubakery. We ended the night with a Cannoli each from @no_mafia that I got @benngooi to buy cos I forgot to make dessert. Haha. Super delicious line up of wines from the super lovely Brad at @amatovino complimented the food. Happy belated birthday @chubbiferous and Happy Be-earlied Birthday @ernminnlim!! Was such a good night of hanging out! .

Day 1 (slides 1-2):

~really didn't do much at all

~drove 8 hours, boring...(just literally sat yet still exhausted, ha-ha)

Lahir dari keisengan pedagang sate yg melihat pelanggan nya meracik sate, sate taican menjadi salah satu makanan ikonik yg bisa ditemukan di kawasan senayan. if you want to find the most original taican, historically, kamu bisa temukan di parkiran senayan city. "Sate ini ga ada bumbunya", kataku pd temen yg belum pernah ke taican. "Kalo ga percaya emut aja". Benar juga akhirnya dia coba dan yg dirasakan memang hanya rasa Asin dan kecut. Sangat sederhana, racikan sate taican cuma garam dan jeruk nipis. tapi, rahasia yg bikin nagih adalah sambel nya yg pedas. Tempat ini juga unik dengan set up neon nya, serta tempat yg open dan gaya lesehan. Semua warung berada di pinggir mengelilingi tempat lesehan yg hanya beralaskan terpal. By only those simple things, people got captivated and organically the popularity of this food grows. That facts give itch to my brain. How can this became so popular? What elevates the growth? Who affects the growth most? When did it start to grows monumentally? In what platforms it gets its popularity the most?
