We are so beyond grateful and truly did not expect this. It takes a lot of hard work being a food blogger, far more work than we ever thought and than what most people think. The cooking, the mess, the cleaning, the videos and pictures while cooking, the amount of times you have to wash your hands(😂), the effort to be creative and different, the uninspired days, the struggle to find good lighting, dealing with instagram bugs, deleting pics from your phone to make room for new pics, eating cold food while your family complains about it😂, answering tons of messages, replying to E-mails. It is WORK! That said, it is rewarding if you love doing it. Not to mention you have the opportunity of meeting such wonderful people.

I am really digging this Super-market Deli series.
This took 7 mins to make...and though it's salmon, I didnt stink up the office because it was already pre-cooked.
The veggies were already chopped, and they came with the teriyaki sauce included.
So, all I did was steam them in the microwave for about 4-mins, at half the power, in my rice-steamer. You can look for the rice-steamer in previous posts.
Then, I added the sauce, and mixed everything up in a large bowl.
Once I portioned the amount of veggies I was going to have for lunch onto a plate, I placed the filet of salmon over them.
Finished everything off by microwaving it all for 1 minute, at full-power.
This was really good, and I even have left over veggies.... Im thinking "no-fry rice" is in my near future! 😂
Scrummy late brunch today at @maltcafe in Worthing! 😍 Houmous & halloumi with glazed beetroot on sourdough (swapped from Rye) and roasted tomatos plus a iced caramel coffee. 🥞🥓☕️ I found it on trip advisor and thought we’d give it a go with some friends as we were going to be local... and soo glad we did 😋 the service was all so cheerful, food super fresh & tasty! Coffees were delicious too then my boyfriend got a slice of chocolate malt cake, this was pretty pricey compared to the actual breakfasts but delicious 🍰
In case you haven't heard already, @nutsabouttella have opened in Melbourne's CBD - 'The College Dropout'😍😍 This is just a little stack I made up on opening day to celebrate😎😎
I started with their awesome 'Gold Digger' burger, typically a simple yet delicious combination of fried chicken, cheese, 'Yeezy' sauce & slaw... but I took it up a level, & then decided it needed to be bigger, so why not throw a quad 'FML' cheeseburger on top?😂😂
The 2 burger stack:
Modified 'Gold Digger'
- x3 fried chicken
- x2 smashed beef
- x5 cheese
- peanut butter & nutella
- x3 bacon
- x4 smashed beef
- x4 cheese
- North West Sauce (hot sauce)
Especcially considering this was only the first day of trade at this location, damn this was one delicious stack😍😍😍
Both the fried chicken & beef were quite thin, but were great quality🔥🔥 The fried chicken had an amazing flavour throughout, the coating is seasoned perfectly, with the perfect spice hit👌 Due to some of the peices being thin, it wasn't quite as juicy as my previous visit, but still amazing👌
The beef patties were smashed thinly, which gave them a crunchy edge that was to die for🤤🤤 they were quality, seasoned perfectly, but I needed a few of them to feel satisfied😂😂 The 'North West' sauce was basically their signature 'Yeezy' sauce with a lot more heat... simply AMAZINGGGG🤤🤤🤤
Love Letter Cookies by @bos.kitchen (makes 10) ❤️🍪
400g plain flour
pinch of salt
200g vegan margarine
6 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp chia seeds
2 tbsp rice/maple syrup
1/2 lemon, juiced
2 tbsp icing sugar
Add flour, salt and margarine to a food processor and process until crumbly (or use your fingers). Mix the oil with 6 tbsps of cold water and gradually add to the crumbs until a dough forms. Flatten into a disc and wrap in plastic film for at least 30 mins.
Add raspberries, chia seeds, rice syrup and lemon juice to a small pan and simmer for 10-15 minutes, until jammy. Roll out pastry into a big rectangle and cut out 3”x3” squares. Dab the edges of the squares with a little water. In a diamond shape, fold up bottom corner, then fold the sides in. Spoon in a couple of 2tsp of chia jam. Use leftover pastry to add little hearts on top. Bake in the oven for 15-20 mins at 200c, until starting to turn golden. Sprinkle with icing sugar before serving.
