I first met Brynn when she was 12 or 13 and knew right away she had a future based off of her work ethic and determination. We reconnected in the 2018 off season and she immediately bought in, asking questions, doing extra work and working hard. This year, she took it to a whole new level. Going into her first year of NCAA D1 we wanted to get her in the best shape ever she needed to be strong and in shape to keep up with the physical play in NCAA. She hit PRs in her front squat, bench press and cleans. She was on the ice 2x/week with us, 4x/week in the gym, yoga, mobility and dialled in her nutrition with @jamiephillips30
I have no doubt in my mind she will have a great career with @cuseice and beyond!

My kobiety mamy zgoła inne priorytety prawda? 😌 ⠀
Poniedziałek ogłaszam dniem NÓG i POŚLADKÓW.⠀
Dziś mam dla Was propozycję treningu siłowego. (bez ćwiczenia 4 również do wykonania w domu!)⠀
Rozgrzewka i aktywacja przed treningiem + stretching na koniec są obowiązkowe.⠀
W filmie tylko część właściwa treningu. ⠀
1️⃣ Przysiad ze sztangą na plecach do siadu na ławkę z miniband nad kolanami. Po dobrej aktywacji pośladka w tym ćwiczeniu powinnaś 🍑 poczuć mocniej niż nogi (albo przynajmniej na równi). ⠀
Tips: Stopy wklejone w trzech punktach podparcia. Pamiętaj o tym! Dodatkowo cały czas działasz siłą odśrodkową na stopy, tzn. wkręcasz je na zewnątrz przy wstawaniu (cały czas staraj się rozciągać gumę).⠀
2️⃣ Przysiad bułgarski z hantlami w wersji z mocnym pochyleniem się do przodu. Ta opcja pozwala na mocniejsze rozciągnięcie mięśnia pośladkowego, co w efekcie przekłada się na jego mocniejszą pracę. ⠀
Tips: uważaj tutaj na plecy, to że się pochylamy nie znaczy, że plecy mają być ugięte! Nogi pracują równie dobrze! 😆⠀
3️⃣ Martwy ciąg na jednej nodze z hantlem. W wersji gdzie drugą nogę prowadzimy na zasadzie wahadła (dodatkowo spinamy pośladek nogi z tyłu) oraz gdzie obciążenie trzymamy po stronie nogi podporowej.⠀
Tips: zejdź jak najniżej, ale oczywiście standardowo przy prostych plecach. ⠀

It’s literally 5 in the morning as I write this but I’m gonna post later... I wanted to talk about staying motivated bc people ask me this a lot and I thought I had it all figured out until recently. The last few weeks have been good and bad in a lot of ways but truth be told I haven’t been very motivated. And if this is a problem with anyone I will ‼️LITERALLY go 1 BY 1 THRU MY DM AND TALK TO EVERYONE that asks for help‼️. I feel like in life the thing that makes us as humans feel good is a feeling of validation and an idea that we’re of value/help to others. For me I wanna be helpful to people that come to me for advice/help no matter what for bc I know what it feels like to not have that help, I want to have a successful future, help the people I love, etc. but it hasn’t been effecting me the same way as it did before. So even as I write this, I’m looking for new reasons why I’m doing the things I do bc something obviously isn’t there. And I might not figure it out today or tomorrow but eventually I will If this is an issue you have, you need to dig deep and find that one thing that lights a fire in you. It might change from time to time but it’s always there. Maybe it’s a life purpose or someone you love, or something someone said to you that hurt or helped you. But I get DMs all the time about how I stay motivated and the simple answer is I’m not always motivated, I don’t always feel super happy, and I get frustrated too, that’s life. And lately things suck and I’m not used to feeling that way BUT THATS OKAY! It just means it’s time for me to reassess the things I’m doing and why. I don’t wanna be just another person on social media putting on some facade because It’s so easy to show a false reality through these platforms depicting that everything is always perfect when it’s not so don’t believe any of that bullshit. Fuck what people have to say about you. Fuck what everyone thinks except the people that care. And take all that negative shit and laugh it off and keep going bc it doesn’t fucking matter, anyone successful in one way or another and to any extent always had or has people trying to bring them down or talk shit or
