Trata-se de uma doença crônica, que leva ao desenvolvimento de manchas totalmente brancas que crescem e podem acometer toda a pele. Acomete toda a população mundial, mal é mais frequente seu aparecimento na idade entre os 10 aos 30 anos.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
A formação das manchas ocorre devido a destruição das células (melanócitos) que produzem o pigmento da pele. Uma das teorias para essa destruição seria pelo mecanismo autoimune. Por isso, é comum o rastreio de outras doenças associadas a imunidade, como doenças da tireoide e o diabetes.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
A evolução da doença é extremamente variável. Alguns casos permanecem localizados, outros retornam à cor original espontaneamente. Há, também, casos que evoluem de maneira rápida e extensa, com perda completa do pigmento da pele e do cabelo (mas não dos olhos).⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

There are two heads of the pectoral muscle. This “Clock Stretch” will allow you to stretch both the clavicular and sternal fibres of the pectoral muscle.
Try this stretch daily against a wall, it will help reduce rounding of the shoulder which can lead to poor posture. If you sit at a desk, this stretch is for you!

As summer has arrived many people cut carbs/fats out of their diet to try and get more lean and defined, so every week we’ll be looking at the most popular diets, weighing up the pros and cons and deciding which one we think is going to achieve the best results.
This diet was developed by Loren Cordain, PhD, a researcher from Colorado State University, who started doing studies in the 1970s. He says that the paleo diet is the way humans were genetically designed to eat.
What can you eat: ✅Lean meat
✅ Nonstarchy vegetables
✅Nuts, (no peanuts)
✅ Plant-based oils
What can’t you eat:
❌Grains, such as oats, wheat, barley, and rice which means no cereal, bread, pasta, bagels, crackers, or granola bars
❌Starchy vegetables, such as potatoes and corn, chips, tortillas, and popcorn
❌Legumes or beans — so no peanut butter; soy foods, such as soy milk, tofu, no hummus or beans of any kind
❌Dairy products — so no milk, yogurt, cheese
❌High-fat meats, such as salami
❌Sugars, such as in soda and sports drinks
❌Processed foods or trans fats
❌Salty foods, such as crackers, chips, pretzels
Pros of the paleo diet:
✅You are more likely to eat a clean diet without additives, preservatives, or chemicals.
✅There are anti inflammatory benefits from the plant nutrients in fruits, vegetables, oils, nuts, and seeds.
✅If you are eating more red meat, you will get more iron.
✅You may see improved satiety — a feeling of fullness between meals, due to the higher intake of protein and fats.
✅Many people lose weight primarily due to the limited food choices.
Cons of the paleo diet:
❌ It can get expensive.
❌You don’t eat any grains or dairy which can be good for health and energy.
❌This diet can be difficult for vegetarians, especially since it excludes beans.
❌Most athletes need between 3 to 6 grams of carbs per pound of their body weight, per day. This would be very hard to do with just fruits and vegetables.

Whenever we are getting ill, or are ill we all want to get this miracle cure that will cure us as soon as possible. Yes, that 1 day in bed was necessary to recharge and well… catch up on our favourite TV show on Netflix. But, too much time in bed makes us go crazy, so we want something to help us get better when we are feeling run down in no time. Wellness shots have been known to contain necessary ingredients to get rid of inflammations and kill bacteria, whether taken before getting ill to prevent illnesses or whilst we are unwell, it works! I often make me and my family Cayenne Wellness Shot. The ingredients I use for this are:
- Cayenne pepper
- Ginger - Lemon Juice
- Apple & Orange Juice
-Orange: Boosts immunity levels and adds touch of tang and sweetness.
-Lemon: Naturally high in Vitamin C and bioflavinods to counter free radicals.
-Ginger: Packed with natural antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties to fight against illness and bacteria.Anti-bacterial properties help to lower risk of infections, purifies the blood and boosts immune function
-Cayenne: Capsaicin warms the body and is a great source of antioxidants. It is potent and effectively treats fevers, poor circulation, nausea, and other digestive complaints
-Apple: A sweet source of minerals and antioxidants.
-Turmeric: Active compound curcumin helps reduce inflammation, stimulates metabolism and works to flush toxins.
I blend and mix all of these products together, then strain it through a sieve. Store in the fridge and drink at least twice a day when ill, take once when feeling run down. 🍵
Another day another full body workout. Consistency is key, full body worked out multiple times weekly. Simple formula for health and fitness. Today was modified Tabata training 30 seconds of each move 10 seconds of transition between moves. I repeated these three move three times for a total of 9 sets. Then a one minute rest. Overall 6 sets. Try it if you dare👍😏

I just came off of a weekend MTB skills camp with @ridetheearth.mtb at @bigskyresort and oh Boy was I sore, tired, and just a little thrown off from being off my usual diet routine. I literally opted out of my Monday and halfway through I remembered this tiny little guy called #magnesium
Oh yes. This little Buddy works absolute wonders for us. After pairing my ailments up with the proper form I needed and a little bit of sleep I was good as new this morning.

CHICKPEA MASH✨ Super simple lunch today of chickpea mash on toast with a side of cucumber. This is one of my easy go-to lunches when I’m having a busy day at work and need something super quick but nourishing. It ticks all the boxes for me- full of fibre (chickpeas + whole wheat toast), protein (again, chickpeas + toast), fat (vegan mayo), carbs (toast), veggies + flavour 🙌🏼 Whats your go-to easy lunch?! ✨.
Chickpea mash recipe (lightly) adapted from @ohsheglows 👇🏼:
rain and rinse 1 can of chickpeas. In a large bowl, mash with a potato masher or back of fork until mostly mashed. Mix in 4 stalks of diced celery, 1/2 diced red pepper, 1/4 diced red onion, the juice of 1/2 lemon, 1 tbsp vegan mayo, 1/2 tbsp mustard, 1 tbsp relish, 1 tsp garlic powder + 1/2 tsp black pepper. Mix to combine, then serve on your favourite toast, with crackers or as a salad topper! 💛

As I come to a close to my 𝟺𝟶𝘵𝘩 𝘉𝘪𝘳𝘵𝘩𝘥𝘢𝘺 𝘔𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘩 𝘊𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘣𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯😂, I can truely say I have develop the strength to rid those negative thoughts, people and things. At the end of day they don't serve you in the journey of being the best version of yourself.
I CHALLENGE you...do a LIFE audit and work on keeping those useless energies in the past so you can do you and move forward to your desired outcome!!!

Tried the new @traderjoeslist creamy pink primavera pasta sauce and it did NOT disappoint😍😍😍 was a little skeptical bc I’m not the biggest beet fan but I LOVED it and it pairs perfectly with their cauliflower gnocchi and sautéed spinach in garlic and crushed red pepper🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
And just found out it’s spinach week from @onceuponapumpkin ??!? so add all the spinach in yo meals😍👏🏼👏🏼
Loving these breakfast vibes from @earthyandy 🌴🌴🌴 Oh how I miss dragonfruit!!! I was seriously addicted to that fruit in indo, my body craved it like nothing else! It was kinda crazy!
