4 years of many good and bad experiences. This hasnt just been a physical transformation. I have learned so many things in a short period of time. I am blessed for the people, and the opportunities I've had in my life. No matter how bad things have gotten, I have always committed to myself to continue to pursue my goals, and that focus has been my sanity at times. Whatever your goals may be, don't lose your passion or focus, keep moving forward, keep growing as a person, because later down the road you'll be thankful you did.

If you have tight hip flexors and have been stretching them with no improvements, stop stretching.
The answer is probably stability and you should try strengthening the tissue that feel tight instead of stretching them.
Exercise 1 - Band Resisted Psoas Marches. Make sure your hips stay above 90 degrees at all time. Aim for 3 sets of 5-8 per side.
Exercise 2 - Bench Elevated Psoas Marches. A progression to exercise 1. Aim for 3 sets of 5-8 reps per side.
Exercise 3 - Deadbug with Foam Roller Squeeze. Focus on keeping tension on the roller and maintaining a flat back throughout the movement. Aim for 3 sets of 4-10 per side.

Little brick tonight after a long ass day of punches. Everything working at the moment and body felt good, no leg cramping no knee pain. Long run today (was supposed to be yesterday) but the weather had something to say about that .:it was torrential downpours all afternoon..but got it in today and it was hot and muggy but a good run. Was supposed to keep it in 2nd gear (zone 2) but I am struggling to do so, always HR creeping up into 3 and 4 - I’m working hard to slow down and focus on breathing and keeping it down bit it’s going to take some learning practice and discipline...all part of the process - GO SLOW TO BE ABLE TO GO FAST..or slow down to speed up.
