As the birthplace of some of Australia’s favourite designer labels, #Paddington never goes out of fashion. Add to the mix the growing culinary scene on Oxford Street and surrounds, it’s got a lot to offer locals. Hermes marble making this latest kitchen refurb instantly appear refreshed, enchanted and alluring. It’s alabaster white background accented with dramatic veins of grey and pale burgundy make it an exceptional choice for benchtops especially when paired with splashbacks of the same material.

This my first post from Sydney where I've been living since the beginning of May. It should go without saying that even if I regularly posted, the viewer would have only a slightly larger insight into my life here. Yet as much as adults throw around buzzword phrases such as 'instagram is a highlight reel', we still fall into the trap of making assumptions.
Social media is like an illustrated book in which the words have been scribbled over and half the pages ripped out, and whilst it is wonderful we're invested in other's lives, it is strange to make opinions about characters before hearing their backstory or having dialogues. The call for authenticity is somewhat irrelevant here; content is always curated, whether it's fiction or documentary. Our uploads are always a filtered choice of how to tell our story. Besides, even attempts to be honest can be misread! When I took a year off social media, I was actually quite alarmed by how much it affected interactions between friends.
Used in the right way, it inspires us; to travel, to create, to think a little deeper, to meet others with similar interests. Instagram can show the full spectrum of humanity and it's wonderful capabilities...
Or cause us to put others into boxes.
It is our responsibility to ensure social media works best for us & switch it off when it feels unproductive, draining or causes us to care more about pixels than people. It's always worth remembering that, whilst there's no obligation to do so, if you want to find out what's really going on in someone's life... Well, it's simple really: Take an interest, ask questions, socialise. I mean, isn't that what humans are meant to be good at, or is the classic dystopian 'robots taking over' scenario a lot more subtle than anyone expected?
Or, y'know, just enjoy content for what it is; These *generic girl with hair looks into the sunset photos* are nice to look at while winding down at the end of the day, right? That's okay too.
Do you find social media is a positive force in your life? I do, for the most part! And if not, how are you working to make it work for you? 😊
Much love, take care and be brave.
Still one of my favourite mural experiences, I loved painting these massive guys in paddington a couple of years back! .

A picture of Sydney and its building and lights in the night.
Let’s Say the reflection of the colours on the water is like living in Sydney, maybe in Australia in general. We’ll have some awesome days and sometimes not so good days, with less light. But, every day has something especial a little bit of light, is just find that good thing in every day that make it good.
Maybe we are looking to the wrong side and everything is monotonous.

Rise and shine, you don’t want to miss a #Bondi sunrise! 🌅 @seeshots got up extra early for this stunning @sydney #sunrise, and we think it's definitely worth it. Start your day right with a stroll along #BondiBeach early in the morning, and you might just be treated to a spectacular sky show like this. The only way to top it off is a nice cup of coffee and a big brekky at @lushonbondi, @speedoscafe or @triobondi along the way - Good morning, indeed.
