Last night we celebrated our wedding anniversary at the quirky @farmer_butcher_chef on the @goodwood_estate - see my stories for pics of the amazing food. But as ever I was more interested in the decor - think full size ceramic cow in the lobby (which I annoyingly forgot to photograph on our way out) and a whitewashed barn with curios from farmers, butchers and chefs past. A long wooden table runs down the middle of the restaurant with old red fire buckets down the full length. The buckets have herbs growing in them - I’ve posted a picture of this previously as well as here as I really like them! 👩🌾 🥩 👨🍳 #restaurantdecor#interiors#interiordesign#interiordesigninspiration#lookup#lookaround#lighting
☝🏻Need a Business & Marketing Mentor? LINK IN BIO☝🏻 The 3️⃣ Major Benefits of Being Optimistic
1️⃣ See failure as a new start. ✨
Failure is not the end, in fact it is often the beginning of something great. When things are good, we coast along without making any quantum leaps. When things go bad, our world gets shaken up, which requires us to grow, see new things and start afresh.
2️⃣Be expansive.👆🏻 Pessimism makes us contract and shy away from new or adventurous things. It causes us to fixate on the negative possibilities and be trapped by fear of failure.
3️⃣Get healthy. 💪🏻 Dwelling on negativity isn’t healthy. Not only are optimists generally happier and less stressed, but also they tend to have healthier hearts.
In a study of more than 5,100 adults, researchers from the University of Illinois found that those who were the most optimistic were 76 percent more likely to have health scores in an ideal range. In addition, optimists had significantly better blood sugar and cholesterol levels, exercised more, and had healthier body mass indexes, and were less likely to smoke than pessimists.
What a weekend for space history! 🚀👨🚀👨🚀👨🚀⠀

Blast off! 🚀 This week I visited the @kennedyspacecenter for #Apollo50, the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission to the moon! 🌔 We got to participate in a re-enactment of the original launch at 9:32am on July 16, and I had the opportunity to meet and talk with Charlie Duke, the CAPCOM for the original launch and 10th man to walk on the moon. It was such an amazing day! I feel so honored that I got to be part of such a historic moment, and I can only imagine what it felt like to be there in 1969. Afterwards, we explored the redone Apollo-Saturn V exhibit, which has just opened to the public, and then saw Duran Duran play an amazing space-themed show in the Rocket Garden (which is a pretty amazing venue for a concert, I have to say, surrounded by rockets!). And this is why I love my job - getting to do crazy experiences like this! Thanks so much to #KennedySpaceCenter for hosting me, and I hope next time I’m back, it’ll be to watch a live launch! #LookUp#JointheJourney #RSJSinFlorida
AD - What do your kids dream of becoming when they grow up? Penny once told me that she wanted to be a paleontologist....but she wanted to do it in space 😂. And knowing her, I'm sure she'll find a way of combining the two. She's got a big imagination but even bigger plans for the future.
@ClarksKids and @NatGeo have joined forces to create this amazing collection to encourage our kids to stay curious, to wonder and to dream big. The shoes within the collection are comfy, cool, practical (perfect for our mini explorers), and in a small step towards future-forward styling, they are made with 50% recycled polyester and 70% of the Strobel construction of each shoe is recycled too. As always when it comes to @clarkskids, we love them! #lookup
50 years since the first steps on the Moon! That’s why we’re blasting off from the rooftop in celebration with @clarkskids x @NatGeo wearing their limited edition space collection of footwear for kids and toddlers 👟🚀 Clarks x National Geographic are encouraging the kids of the future to be bold, explore - stay curious and we’re teaching them about incredible moments like Neil Armstrong taking those first few steps on the moon 50 years ago. It makes me shake my head in wonder, what might our kids achieve 50 years from now?
Will is wearing the ATH GEO in Silver which best suits toddler sizing and Scarlet is in the Scape Sonar in Silver for kids. Flexible, lightweight soles and they’re using SUSTAINABLE RECYCLED material in the shoes. 50% recycled polyester and 70% of the strobe construction of each shoe is recycled too! The shoe boxes are 90% recycled material and the box is 100% recyclable all in pursuit of sustaining our own beautiful planet.
To finish off and for all of you punny people out there in need a of CHEESY one, I want to share my best outer space joke:
How does Neil Armstrong cut his hair?

I love this new painting, it started out as an experiment to work on a new surface, it’s a large box wooden canvas and I loved the way the oil moved across the surface. I think I might be painting a few more ! .
