Mine in the past was a water bottle (had to have one with me at all times), my phone, my mom or dad, checking my pulse, being around the AC in hot weather making sure I get too hot and googling hospitals around me to make sure I was always close to one!
It IS VERY possible to develop safety from within and cut this anxiety cycle! You just have to do the work. 💕
🐍 Spend a couple of minutes in silence with your eyes closed and visualize yourself standing in the new life you’re presently focused on manifesting.
Notice the details of your environment, feel your feelings, watch how you carry yourself, notice how you dress, what you think about, what you do.
Now open your eyes and go about your day today as if you’re still in that environment, as if you’ve already reached success, as if you’re presently the person you’re becoming.
Acting as if your new life is already here is one of the most powerful things you can do, because when you match your energy to that of the new reality, you open yourself up to finding the path to get there.
Prepping easy to grab nutrient-dense dishes is crucial to a healthy week for me. Sunday's at the Farmer's Markets and in the kitchen are my jam!
I always add any quality leftover vege from the previous week into a big delicious salad, but here's my fave combo
2 cups kale, ( Combine with half of lemon juice, a drizzle of oil and a little salt. Massage until the kale starts to soften)
A handful of Green Beans
A Handful of parsley
3 Radishes - thinly sliced
1-2 Raw Beetroots - Thinly sliced
A handful of Brussel Sprouts cut into quarters
1-2 Avocado - sliced
A handful of Pumpkin Seeds
A handful of Hemp Seeds
Dressing - I use a mix of Lemon Juice, Apple cider Vinegar, Olive Oil, salt and pepper. Mix in a jar and pop in the fridge to use through the week. *Dont forget to wash and rinse your vege before use! See the recipe in my Stories x
The Mindfulness Center of Lititz is *very* happy to announce our newest mindfulness and mindfulness meditation teacher, Adam Binford.
Originally from Lancaster, PA, Adam spent his early career working in the financial services industry in New York City. He took a sabbatical in 2016 embarking on a trip around the world and a desire to better understand himself. While traveling in Asia, he gained exposure to eastern philosophy, yogic practices, meditation and mindfulness.
Adam completed his first Yoga Teacher Training at Tattvaa Yogashala, in Rishikesh India in 2016.
Following his certification, he worked at Tattvaa teaching yoga asana, mindfulness practices, breathing exercises such as pranayama, and yoga nidra, a relaxation technique. After Tattvaa, Adam spent a year in China teaching yoga and mindfulness.
Adam also practices Vipassana meditation having spent three months at the center in Queensland, Australia. He has sat for five, ten-day silent meditation courses, and volunteered for four retreats. Adam is an E-RYT 200, and RYT 500 certified teacher.

Si seguís mirando afuera poniéndote objetivos y creyendo que solo cuando se concreten vas a lograr lo que hoy no tenes (paz, felicidad, plenitud, éxito, admiración, etc) caes en la ilusión de que solo en el futuro está lo que buscas. Bajo esa mirada HOY y ahora no estás completo, hoy y ahora no es suficiente, hoy y ahora te faltan cosas que consideras básicas para tu felicidad. Esa misma mirada de insuficiencia es la que te hace sufrir. Porque ese futuro nunca llega, ese futuro ni siquiera existe, lo único real y verdadero es el presente. Tu felicidad no está detrás de esos logros, no está detrás de tus metas simplemente porque la felicidad no viene de afuera. Siempre que la encuentres desde afuera será momentánea y pasajera. Encontrar plenitud y paz interior es desprenderte de todos esos juicios que te describen como alguien incompleto. Esa plenitud y paz interior habitan adentro tuyo en ese espacio interno que TODOS tenemos pero pocos acceden. “Tu visión devendrá más clara solamente cuando mires dentro de tu corazón, aquel que mira afuera sueña, quien mira en su interior, despierta” Carl G. The Heart Sound
The Six Healing Sounds Meditation is a technique for releasing stuck energy (hot, cold, emotional patterns). There are multiple layers of intention and activity that can be used in the meditation/exercise. There is a breath, a movement, an emotion, a visualization of colors, and stillness. There are six organs that correspond with the five phases (or elements) of energy in classical Taoist theory. Each organ has its own sound, movement, color, and emotional virtues.
As an example, and since we are still riding the waves of the summer solstice, the fourth organ in the sequence is the heart. The heart sound is “H-A-A-A.” So, we will inhale, lift the hand toward the sun, tilt to the right, opening the heart and exhaling “haaa.” After we exhale the heart sound, and let our hands float back down to the heart, we breathe in a beautiful red color. We also breathe in the feelings of love, joy, happiness, and allow/imagine those emotions grow inside and around our heart.
Then, we rest in the space between breaths, and we do the heart sound again. I recommend doing each of these sounds 3 times or 6 times or 12 times, whatever you have time for. Do the releasing movements, and then inhale the good virtues.
