3 years ago i was depressed because my life wasn’t progressing like i had planned , i left an amazing job with very good salary and was unemployed with a new baby..i would cry myself to sleep every night until one day when i decided to change my situation. I convinced my husband to give me money to start retailing biscuit, he gave me the money but then i realized the profit does not match the hustle so after selling everything, i decided not to sell again.
I couldn’t easily get a job because i had not completed my youth service so i registered, didn’t get the place i wanted but i refused to give up till i got a place to manage
I told myself at least i won’t be at home doing nothing
This job helped me overcome my depression..i am not even close to where i want to be,there are so many unfilfilled dreams but i am not depressed anymore and i refuse to give up!

I’m wearing shorts!!! But I don’t mind them. Ya the pink is tough to get used to but it’s comfy and I wanted the fishnet detail. So meh pink will do. And these shorts, well I never really felt comfortable in them but it’s warm and I was already gonna sweat up a storm. 😂

Change is such an amazing thing. It’s funny how I want to workout. Not when I’m actually doing it but all day I think “I can’t wait to workout” it’s gives me headspace, it helps me stay up beat and feeling confident.

It’s the hardest thing for us to recognize. Time heals everything, and no matter what you’re stuck in right now time will improve it. You could be feeling depressed about your fitness progress. Maybe you just lost your job or a loved one. Maybe you just went through a break up. And unfortunately, it feels like death right now.
But if there was some magical way that you could fast forward your brain 6, 12 or 18 months from now, you would see that it’s a little bit better. And amazing things have replaced the terrible things in your life.

I mean, think about the way our bodies work and how much goes into the tiniest movements. It’s incredible really. I know I personally at least don’t think about it enough. It’s still always thinking about the things I haven’t yet accomplished, the pull-up I can’t do, the weight I can’t squat...but today, I’m thankful for all I CAN do and I’m pretty proud of myself for that. Be proud of yourself today 💕
Still struggling to break this cycle. When I have a bad day I feel like I need cheat food. Even when I’ve had a good day I have the same response - I deserve it.⠀
What I really deserve is to end the migraines. To have amazing energy. To feel good about my body. To feel like I’m in control.
Keto helps me be accountable because there are consequences to eating poor that immediately affect me. The “one more cheat day” or “just a few” is almost nonexistent once I’m in ketosis. Plus when I start to see the water weight drop it motivates me more to exercise which continues the positive cycle. More reasons to ❤️ keto. Today is the first day I didn’t wake up sore from keto flu, even though I woke up at 4:30am because the power was out (I live in Arizona. No power = no AC 😭) but still feeling motivated!
