Unusual Mountain Ahuna Mons on Asteroid Ceres
What created this unusual mountain? There is a new theory.Ahuna Mons is the largest mountain on the largest known asteroid in our Solar System, Ceres, which orbits our Sun in themain asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter. Ahuna Mons, though, is like nothing that humanity has ever seen before. For one thing, its slopes are garnished not with old craters but young vertical streaks. The new hypothesis, based on numerous gravity measurements, holds that a bubble of mud rose from deep within the dwarf planet and pushed through the icy surface at a weak point rich in reflective salt -- and then froze. The bright streaks are thought to be similar to other recently surfaced material such as visible in Ceres' famous bright spots. The featured double-height digital image was constructed from surface maps taken of Ceres in 2016 by therobotic Dawn mission. Successfully completing its mission in 2018, Dawn continues to orbit Ceres even though it has exhausted the fuel needed to keep its antennas pointed towardEarth.

I love carrying expressions along Tag lines on t-shirts, tattoo, doodles and scribbles in books, wallpaper on the phone screen or anything that can speak non-verbally. I love observing these little things from the people around too, they tell a lot about them. Or sometimes they just become an amazing conversation starter.
Recently, while travelling in the metro, I was offered a seat by an old man, must have been 55 or so. He told he was getting down after 3-4 stations and so I accepted. He looked at the back cover of my phone and asked "So you love mountains, have you ever been to one?" I smiled and said "No Sir, But I wish to". Yes, I lied, I know. But for the thing that came later. We know how excited we get talking about things that people don't know about, or have never experienced. I saw he then took off his bag from his shoulder and kept it between his legs. Took out his phone and showed me his pictures of climbing Nanda Devi at the age of 32. He looked so excited on knowing that I wanted to visit the mountains but never had the pleasure, and thus, his expression was countlessly charming, nostalgic and excited enough to lure me into start trekking. I promised him that I will definitely start exploring the world more. He took off saying, "If you travel, in the end, that will be the only thing you will remember happily out of all things that you did in a life time." If I meet him again ever, I would want him to have the pleasure of motivating someone to go visit the mountains once, I will show him my pictures with the same excitement then :) #travelsandreadingswithghaniya
