But we only caught the last bit so it’s hard to tell 🤷🏻♀️. Why not post a better video you ask? Because of the 2.5 hours we spent playing @warriortechocr I only got it once! Yup! 1x.
So yes it’s hard to see but I did it 🤗
What you CAN clearly see though is me going for 3rd tier & failing. 😬 I probably tried 50 more times & would fail every time. & as much as that may seem like I’m exaggerating, my body would verify for the next 4 days that it’s pretty sure I tried & failed at least 50 times too 😫😭😂) #sorefordays Don’t worry I gave ya a few to enjoy 🤣
The truth is it’s just like life! .
We may try something 100 times & May only be successful once. Hell. Maybe it’s a 1000 times. The fact is, if it’s something you want DON’T GIVE UP!! .
I think it’s so easy feel defeated & give up when we see others doing something we want to do, & doing it w/ ease. & though I know a lot of us do this with social media it happens in real life too.
When I saw Danny go up the whole Salmon Ladder on like his 5th try I was excited & proud of him, but soo frustrated w/ myself. & I could have given up, I almost did, but I didn’t & I got it to the 2nd tier! And yes it may have only happened once but I did it!!🕺🏻Now I’m going for the 3rd... once I find one to play on in VABeach 😂
My point is don’t be blinded by your failures or the glow of other success.
You’re time will come. .
& once you get that once little taste of success then you can choose to call it good & move on or maybe now go for the next tier. Heck, maybe you go out & share what you learned good or bad w/ others & help them find success too!
It’s all up to you!
So get out of your head.
Keep going! Keep trying!
Don’t give up!

I made it a whole year of training without a big ninjury so I am thankful for that! I’ve learned two big things this past week since it happened. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’ve learned that people truly do want to help. There is more love and community in our world than what I think I tend to notice on a daily basis. Strangers have offered to carry my crutches, open doors, carry things for me, push me around, and have stopped to show concern. I’ve had people tell me how impressed they are that I’m still working out with a boot and crutches, and others just send a friendly smile. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’ve also learned to focus on the details and to focus on what I CAN do. In the past I would have been really upset and my mind would have been focused on what I can’t do right now. Instead my mind has been on how I can be a better ninja without a foot right now. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

“What is iron palm?!” I've had so many people asking about this from seeing the updates in my stories.
So I’ll give you guys the quick breakdown.
Basically it is a Chinese liniment I learned about from training Wing Chun. Martial artists would slap bags of rocks to create micro fractures and then would dip their hands in iron palm liniment to heal the damage and they could continue doing it again the next day. They would repeat this process for 100 days, when they were said to have iron palm and could break coconuts with their bare hands.
The idea behind it is that it can heal damage in the bones, tendons, and ligaments. When you create micro fractures in your bones from continual use, your hands build the bone back up stronger. The problem is that continual use also wears away the joints as well. By using this iron palm liniment you can heal your hands so they become stronger but also protect and heal the tendons and joints as well.
My time in ninja warrior has shown me the huge advantage to having strong hands. Thus I’ve gone back into my old wing chun days to begin the 100 days of iron palm training! I’ll keep posting more about iron palm and the process of doing the training as I go through it 🔥🙌🔥 so stay tuned !

Pulled in a first place at #ninjanight tonight. Andy and I were both sporting shirts from @thecannabisninja brainchild The Ninja Cup by total coincidence. This sesh tonight was perfect for my headspace in the ramp up for UNAA Worlds. The first run was riddled with mistakes and my second was sheer commitment to see it through without losing points.
