Shaklee maintains a rigorous process for testing raw materials. In 1998, Shaklee’s #4 best selling product was Ginseng. N.E.W. U Small Group Training consists of both conditioning and strength training in a 30 minute low impact circuit workout. The groups usually consist of 3-5 people. This allows the Personal Trainer to focus on each person, and coach proper exercise technique to maximize benefit, while minimizing injury risk. Each N.E.W. U member receives 12 small group training sessions per month to use as they wish (recommended 3 times per week with at least one day of rest between). There are 36 sessions throughout the week to accommodate your busy schedule.
The benefit of strength training compared to steady state cardio is improved body composition (increased fat loss and muscle gain) which helps to speed up resting metabolic rate. In turn, this helps to burn more calories throughout the day and more easily reach a caloric deficit.

You're simply trying to fill a void in yourself when in fact that is the time you need to turn internally as to why you have that unhappiness, address it, accept it and let it go. Then here comes the feeling of solitude💚 You know no matter what that no external factors can truly make you happy inside. You must love yourself for the person who are and are trying to become. RAINBOW COUS COUS and a glass of Syn Free Rose lemonade for lunch 😍 I made the Cous Cous by chopping Apple,cucumber,peppers, red onion, cherry tomatoes, celery and then added pomegranate seeds- I made the Cous Cous with vegetable stock and then added red wine vinegar, fresh mint and parsley...then just mix it all together...

Before lifting anything from the floor the above is a logical perquisite for a deadlift. If you can’t reach down and touch your toes without bending your knees you will need to work on your hamstring flexibility first. Remember stretching on its own doesn’t make significant change to muscle structure. In short we know that force is the language of cells thus you need to apply isometrics within your stretches (pails and rails). The works of Dr Spina and his certifications (FRC) will guide you through the best practise. If you are ready for deadlifts I alternate between one leg dead lifts and bilateral hex/trap bar dead lifts. I no longer perform barbell dead’s for myself or clients due to increased risk factor. The hex bar or trap bar puts much less load on the lumbar spine because of its higher position from the ground and that you stand in the middle of the hexagon and hold the handles on the side of you with a more upright trunk thus reducing sheer force on the lumbar spine. Every exercise you do must have a risk vs reward component thus it’s a no brainer to switch to the hex/trap bar rather than the barbell.

Your coach should have you prepped, warmed-up, & mentally ready for the workout. I want you also prepared by your nutrition & have created my top recommendations to get you through the workout, & safely to the cookout this Memorial Day.
1.) Hydration starts TODAY! If you’re not drinking a minimum of half your BW in ounces of water, today is Day 1 of this new water goal. Continue this into Sun.
On Memorial Day I suggest Nuun Tablets in your water to provide additional electrolytes. During your workout & ESPECIALLY if you plan on taking 30+ minutes to finish (& you will), I suggest 10-20g Dextrose mixed in your water.
2.) Don’t carb load. You’re working hard but you’re not working THAT hard. Ultimately, you’re either performing an intense 40-50 min workout, or a drawn out 60+ min workout. Either way, a carb load isn’t needed. Simply eat balanced meals the day before & your larger meal later Sunday evening if you plan on doing the workout early Monday.
Monday, if you will be doing the workout 3+ hours after breakfast, you should eat a generous sized breakfast, focused on quality carbs such as oats or potatoes. If your workout is later in the day do the same, but continue to eat similar, but smaller meals every 3-4 hours until the workout starts.
DO NOT eat a large meal close to workout time. As I tell my fighters, “a hungry dog fights harder”. Hunger means its time to hunt. 30-45 minutes before the workout a whey & berry smoothie or Greek yogurt & berries are great options.
If you know you’re able to perform the workout intensely & want every possible nutritional advantage, consume a couple Tbsp of honey minutes before the workout starts.
3.) Immediately following the workout, drink 10-40g of Dextrose. If you don’t want to buy Dextrose, Chocolate Milk, Watermelon Juice, or even Gatorade are acceptable options. Throughout the day, continue to drink plenty of water & eat good, quality carbs. If you want to drink alcohol, just make sure you’re drinking additional water.
As you complete the workout, please do so with fire in your heart. Memorial Day is a day in which we honor those who can no longer share these moments. Never forget them. #murph 🇺🇸
