Has anyone else noticed that whatever you have lying around your kids will eat? If I leave a bowl of cucumbers on the counter before I know it they are all gone. So I decided to go back to something I did years ago which is cut up a veggie tray that I can pull out of the fridge at any time for the kids to snack on. I also have a container of hummus on the side that they can dip it in if they’d like. This is nice to have as a healthy go to throughout the week. I do something similar with fruit.

But I have a few tips that I can share with you, that have really helped me to kick that habit to the curb.
1) The kitchen is closed🔐
After dinner and everything is cleaned up, I tell myself that's it and the kitchen is closed for the night. I get occupied with something else, read a book, go for a walk, hang out with the kids or finish up some work and distract myself from those thoughts.
2) Talk to your snacks🍪🥨
Before you take your first bite, stop and ask yourself, am I really hungry? Do I really need this right now? What are you going to do for me? How will I feel after I eat you? Will I beat myself up? Will those consequences be worth it? Then make your decision.
Chances are by the time you take a second to think about it a little more, you will have already talked yourself out of it 👍
3) Brush your Teeth🦷
If all else fails, brush your teeth, the taste of the toothpaste in my mouth just shuts my brain off from even wanting food. Bedtime is triggered and it's off to bed 😴

Como necesito ir liberando espacio del celu lanzaré este nutritip ahora 😅 (no quiero borrar más memes 😱) y este #nutritip va con información nutricional, y me refiero a chips crujientes de verduras, si te gustan las papas fritas aquí te traigo una opción más sanita, baja en calorías, y menis procesada, en éste caso hice chips de #berenjena y #betarraga , sólo necesitas un pelador de papa y cortarlas en lonjas de 1 a 2 milímetros, , ponerlas en una bandeja con papel mantequilla y hornear con grill hasta que se deshidraten (las berenjenas no toman más de 10 a 15 minutos mientras que las betarragas toman como 30 minutos) no te recomiendo echarles sal ya que al deshidratarse quedan con un sabor bastante intenso, puedes simplemente untarles salsas como humus o yogurt natural, y además es bastante #económico ya que de 1 betarraga regular o 1 berenjena pequeña obtienes 2 porciones tipo papas lays.

Here are the new Pillsbury Place & Bake Brownies! Let's dive straight into my opinion of these: Disappointing. On one hand, they're a chocolate baked good. So there is some likability here. However, I've had many, maaaaany brownies that are better than this. I prefer rich, fudgy brownies, and these are very much on the cakey and a little dry side.
If you're going to bake up some brownies, but don't have the time or desire to make them from scratch, I would highly recommend spending the extra five minutes and using a boxed brownie mix instead of baking these. If you are still keen on trying these, I would recommend the Marshmallow variety.
I've found these at Woodman's and Hy-Vee so far.
RAW STRAWBERRY-LIME TART recipe!! ❤️ Perfect for summer, winter, Wednesday treat, celebrations, etc. So good!! Credit to the amazing 📸 @vegan.niinja RECIPE:
3/4 cup leftover pulp from making almond milk (or just use almonds if you have no pulp)
1/2 cup dates, pitted
1/2 cup coconut shred
1 tbsp coconut oil, coldpressed
About 1/2 tsp vanilla
Blend all the ingredients until you get a sticky dough. Press down on a parchment paper in a cake mold. (If you don't use a silicone mold!)
Let the base set in the fridge or freezer while preparing the filling.
1 1/2 cup fresh strawberries
1 1/2 cup almond milk
4 tbsp coconut oil, coldpressed
1 tsp agar agar
1/2 lime, the juice
1 tbsp (or more if the strawberries are not that sweet) maple or coconut blossom syrup.
Blend all the ingredients until smooth. Pour in a sauce pan and let the cream simmer for about 5 minutes, stir constantly. Let the cream cool down before pouring the cream over the base.

Green Capsicum - 1/2 No.
Red Capsicum - 1/2 No.

Baby Corn - 4 Nos
Cauliflower Florets - 1 Cup
To Make Batter
Corn Flour - 1/2 Cup
Maida - 1/2 Cup
Salt - 1 Tsp
Chili Flakes - 1 Tsp
To Make Sauce
Oil - 1 Tsp
Garlic - 5 Nos Chopped
Spring Onion Whites
Vinegar - 2 Tsp
Schezwan Sauce - 2 Tbsp
Tomato Ketchup - 2 Tsp
Chili Flakes - 1 Tsp (Optional)
Water - 1 Tbsp
Spring Onion Greens
1. In a bowl, add maida, cornflour, pepper, salt, ginger garlic paste, red chili flakes, schezwan sauce and water.
2. Add the vegetables into the batter and toss it to coat the vegetables
3. Heat some oil and deep fry the vegetables till they are crispy and cooked
4. Heat a pan with some oil, saute garlic, spring onions
5. Add in the sauces and chili flakes and mix well
6. Add the fried vegetables and add some spring onion greens
7. Serve it hot.
