This is definitely one of my favorite wall tricks!
Also, I didn’t go into detail about the first three step because it would have taken to long to explain all the side drills. But essentially step 1-3 is turning a Back Tuck into a Back Whip. And in order to do that you have to learn to focus a lot on your hips and shoulders.
The arms swing and the legs jumping motion is pretty much the same in a Tuck and a Whip. But the hips and shoulders are different.
In a Tuck you want to jump up and therefore push your shoulders and hips up, and then get your rotation from the knees driving up.
But in a Whip you instead want to set your hips forward and your shoulders back, that way your rotation gets sped up so that you don’t have to bring your knees in to get rotation.
