Canjica ou Curau? Apesar da diferença do nome dependendo da região do país, uma coisa é igual em todo Brasil: é uma comida tipicamente Junina e que fica uma delícia preparada com o leite Cajueiro 85 Castanhas. Confere a receita completa e não deixe de experimentar.
CANJICA / CURAU
4 Espigas de milho
2 xícaras (chá) de leite Cajueiro 85 Castanhas.
½ xícara (chá) açúcar demerara orgânico ou xilitol.
Canela em pó a gosto para polvilhar. --
Modo de Preparo:
Comece lavando bem as espigas de milho com bastante água. Com a espiga apoiada de pé, corte os grãos com uma faca.
Bata no liquidificador por alguns minutos o milho com o leite 85 castanhas Cajueiro.
Em seguida, coe em uma peneira com a ajuda de uma colher para extrair todo o líquido.
Em uma panela, misture o líquido que foi coado com o açúcar demerara e leve ao fogo médio. Quando levantar fervura, abaixe o fogo e continue mexendo até engrossar.
Deixe esfriar e polvilhe canela para servir.

Apart from terrible accidents like this, pigs also suffer from h eatstroke during these transports. They can't sweat so no possibility to get rid of excess heat. Transports in these temperatures is llitterally hell.

80 pigs were killed after this slaughterhouse truck crashed in France.
Those who survived were eventually assessed by a vet.
Those whose injuries are considered too severe are euthanized on site.
Those who survive are loaded onto another truck and taken to the slaughterhouse.
There, the rest of the pigs are killed and either chopped up for meat or disposed of as 'wasted stock'.

Why not make it at home? My sis @stevieoptimus cooked an easy hot Mexican meal for me. It is also naturally gluten free.
Toss up quart 🥑, frozen 🌽, leftover brown 🍚, black beans, cumin, dried 🌶, onion, canned 🍅, baked 🍠 in smoked paprika @180°C for 20mins, coriander and jalapenos.
- add more greens with spinach, kale and lettuce of your choice 🥗
- frozen are as equally nutritious as fresh varieties ❄️
- canned goods are also equally nutritious, however, look for no added salt or low salt varieties 🥫

Oven Baked Sweet Potatoes by @michalakramer 💛 Recipe:
2 sweet potatoes⠀
Small slices of chili⠀
Half a lime or lemon⠀
Drizzle with sesame, salt and pepper⠀
Cut the sweet potatoes, place on a baking tray and bake in the oven in 20 min. at 200c degrees. Add the filling, drizzle with chili, sesame, parsley salt and pepper. Easy and delicious. Go give this a try. Enjoy! #veganfoodspace
🌿🍝 Creamy Pasta Bowl! 📷 by @beferox 🚨🚨Recipe: For the cream sauce you'll simply need: 2 small potatoes (1 cup, peeled and cubed), 1 small white onion (roughly chopped), 1 tbsp. lemon juice, 2 tbsp. nutritional yeast, 1 1/3 cup of oat milk
Bring a small saucepan with water to a boil. Add the cubed potatoes and the chopped onion. Cook them for about 5-6 minutes or until the potato cubes are soft. Drain the water and add the veggies to a blender along with all the other ingredients. Blend until smooth and transfer the sauce back to the saucepan. Bring it to a boil for just a second and mix in any tomato sacue you like.
Mix the cream sauce with 350ml of vegan bolognese which is the perfect amount for 500g of pasta 😊

Papas Arrugadas with Harissa Tomato Dill Sauce by @yummyyatra 💛 Recipe:
Clean the baby (new) potatoes (about 1.5 lbs) by scrubbing them under running water. ⠀
Put the potatoes in a wide cast iron skillet in a single layer and cover with enough water to cover the potatoes completely.⠀
Sprinkle 2 tbsp salt over the potatoes and boil on medium heat until the potatoes are tender, (took about 40-45 minutes for my potatoes).⠀
Drain the remaining water and continue to cook the potatoes on low heat in the same skillet until the water evaporates completely, tossing the potatoes often. (About 15 minutes)
Tomato sauce with harissa and dill⠀
In a medium saucepan, add 1 tsp neutral oil, 4 cloves of minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds⠀
Add 3 large finely chopped tomatoes, salt to taste, 1/2 tsp ground turmeric, 1 tsp cayenne, 2 tbsp ground harissa, 1/4 tsp ground cumin, 1/2 cup water and cook for 10 minutes.⠀
Purée the above mixture in a processor or using an immersion blender⠀
Add 1/4 cup chopped dill⠀
Check for seasoning. transfer the potatoes to a serving plate, crack some of them open with a fork, gently spoon the sauce over the potatoes just before serving. Enjoy! #veganfoodspace

Korean Stir-fried Glass Noodles by @hannah__chia 😋 Chewy, delicious noodles tossed with veggies, mushrooms, and fragrant garlic and sesame oil - this is a must-try!
4 oz Korean sweet potato starch noodles
5 oz (about one small bunch) spinach, washed and drained
3 oz extra-firm tofu
½ medium onion, thinly sliced
½ red bell pepper, thinly sliced
1 carrot, cut into matchsticks
3 stalks green onions, cut into 1 inch lengthwise strips
4 shiitake mushrooms, sliced thinly
2 cloves garlic, finely minced
3 tbsp soy sauce or tamari (for gluten-free)
1 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds, for garnish
salt and pepper to taste
Bring water to boil in a large pot, then add noodles and cook for 6-8 minutes, until soft but still slightly chewy. Drain and rinse in cold water, then cut in half with scissors.
For the spinach, blanch in a separate pot (bring water to a boil and throw in spinach for one minute until wilted), then rinse the spinach under cold running water, squeeze into a ball, and cut the ball several times.
In a nonstick pan, cook the tofu until browned on both sides, then remove from pan.
Next, sauté the onion, mushroom, bell pepper, and carrot together for 2 minutes until softened, then add in green onions and cook for another minute.
Finally, add in the noodles to the pan, the minced garlic, soy sauce, sugar, and sesame oil. Taste and add salt as desired. Toss until well combined, and sprinkle with the sesame seeds. Serve warm.
