Apologies for the shitty squat angle 😥 can't win em all. BUT the good news is I peaked out at 355x6. 
I've also started replacing Front Squats with Pause Squats to get more comfortable with depth and being in the hole. This is the last full 5/3/1 cycle before my very first #powerlifting meet with @southernpowerliftingfederation. Finished this off with some light Prowlers to get in some conditioning.

Estudo de Barbalho (2018), treinou 20 homens jovens, um grupo realizou somente exercícios multi-articulares como supino, desenvolvimento, puxada e remada.
Já o outro grupo, além desses, realizou rosca bíceps e tríceps roldana.

Os resultados mostraram que o grupo que acrescentou exercícios isolados aumentou 30% a mais o braço que o grupo que só utilizou exercícios multi-articulares.

Esses resultados sugerem o óbvio, que realizar exercícios isolados, irão provocar maior hipertrofia da região estimulada.

Bueno, al igual que el primer tip, estoy seguro de que este no es sorpresa para nadie. Pero, ¿comprenden la importancia de eso?. Se los voy a explicar en pocas palabras: el azúcar, tal y como lo consumimos, es una aberración (digamos, basicamente el cuerpo no sabe procesarla adecuadamente). El consumo excesivo de azúcar es la causa de muchas enfermedades y sienta las bases para la obesidad en muchas personas. Hay debate respecto a cuanto es lo máximo recomendado. Yo por mi parte me limito a no consumir ninguna azúcar que no sea producida naturalmente. Es decir, comer frutas, aunque contienen azúcar, no debería ser problema. 
Les prometo que de solo este tema podríamos hablar muchísimo. ¿Les interesaría más información sobre los beneficios de dejar el azúcar?Coménteme al respecto =)
De paso les cuento que el azúcar añadido a los productos no siempre viene en forma de azúcar. A menudo la encontramos como jarabe de maíz o sacarosa.

Today was rest day and the "gym bro" in me feels like all gains have disappeared 😂. So instead of going out and inhaling an entire KFC Mighty Zinger, I'm going to tell you some things you need to prioritize on rest days.

Taking a rest day from the gym doesn't give you a free pass to cheat on your diet and be lazy and do absolutely nothing. You need to focus on recovery because training and nutrition does not equal progress. Training plus nutrition PLUS RECOVERY equals progress.

In fact, the second you step out of the gym is when you should start focusing on recovery. So what do you do? First thing is to go on 10 minute brisk walks after every meal (even on training days in fact) and the second thing is sleep.

Make sure that wake up on your rest day without an alarm and do the same for the very next morning. This is to allow your body to tell you when to wake up instead of your phone! The first option allows you to sleep better. Better sleep = better recovery.

Thirdly and lastly, eat slightly more protein. Try to shoot for 1.5g of protein per pound of bodyweight. Not only does research show it to be superior to 1g for muscle gain AND fat loss, more protein also means faster recovery. Yes, your body will utilize it if you space it out with 30 to 40 grams of protein per meal.
