I could go on. Everyone has an opinion. Everyone likes to give their input (like I care). This year more than ever I’ve questioned my motives, my effort that I put into competing, and also the direction the divisions are headed. Wrong shape for figure, too hard for figure, too small for WPD, too big for bikini.. who knows anymore. I know I work my ASS off for progress. I want to win. I want to be at the top. I know I want to bring up my legs and middle back. The left is my progression look and current look (160lbs) and the right is my last prep at 140lbs. I’m constantly checking myself and reassessing where I’m headed. Fellow competitors, don’t listen to the feedback from people who don’t know what the hell they’re talking about. Listen to your coach. Listen to feedback from your judges. People who don’t understand competing won’t understand what you do. Who cares if someone thinks you’re too extreme or you work too hard or you look better when you aren’t dieting. There will be adversity every step of the way. That’s also what comes from putting yourself out there and sharing your dreams and goals and progress for the world to see. It comes with the territory. The ultimate victory in competition is derived from the inner satisfaction of knowing that you have done your best and that you have gotten the most out of what you had to give. Fuck apathy. Fuck being not impressed. Fuck boredom. I don’t want to “chill”. I’m still just getting started.

Ich kann euch noch nicht sagen was für nächstes Jahr geplant ist und ob ich starten werde. Ich hab einiges geplant für 2019 und weiß noch nicht ob Wettkämpfe möglich sein werden.

Those of you who have been around the last few months know I have been at work on something big. I wanted to tell you at least how the conversation to create a product came about. I have always at least as far back as I can remember suffering from some type of attention deficit. The thing most readily prescribed when I was a kid was Retalin, I’m thankful my family found other means to help me focus as the side effects of Retalin were seemingly worse that the issue it was being prescribed to address. Here I am 35+ years later and I am still struggling with those same issues I had as a kid. I have watched the recent upward swing in Adderall abuse (scary) The more I sat and thought about it, talked to friends who suffered from the same issue, the more I realize that I had to find something to address it. I couldn’t find what I was looking for but luckily enough I made a few friends in the fitness industry that I truly trusted and I knew were abreast to all the latest discoveries that were safe and proven to be effective. We started talking and ideas to address several different mental and physical deficiencies revealed themselves. I suffer from anxiety and the occasional bouts of depression I wanted this to be addressed as well. We wanted to offer something that provided an overall sense of pleasantness. We also wanted to look into supplements that would help our bodies continue to create healthier cells as we age. There was no way we were going to keep this potential product to ourselves, we are working on some final touches and details. I was never a confident kid growing up. I was always in my own head, always worried about what people thought of me. For a couple years when I first started to lift weights I wore a hoodie to the gym. I was shy, didn't feel comfortable starting conversations, ultimately I wasn't comfortable in my own skin.
This trend continued until I stepped on that stage in that picture you see. Showing a few hundred people your body in underwear posing to music is not the most private thing haha. Point of it all is when you challenge yourself to be uncomfortable you build self confidence!
I won’t get into all the details. You can just watch videos online of the horrible slaughter of animals in order to feed us spoiled ass humans like I finally did this morning. These animals are intelligent and have feelings and emotions. Ask yourself, why does a cow tense up when it knows it’s about to be slaughtered resulting in your “tough” steak that you send back at dinner in order to receive a more tender one? There are a ton of other reasons but I refuse to bombard you with my opinions. My body. My choice. Your body, your choice. But, I have always known of these things going on, but was too sensitive to research deeper and actually pay it any attention. But this morning I guess it was time. Without even thinking I stumbled back upon it through @killrobbailey. 🙏🏼 I watched a link he provided. And it changed my life. I won’t elaborate much more than that. Better late than never, I guess. So today I embark on a new lifestyle! Vegan 100%. Today’s first meal, Quinoa + Falafel + Spicy Peanut Sauce + Avocado, Carrots, Black Beans, Green Onions.... Found out I wasn’t a huge fan of this certain Falafel 😜 But Trial and error!
