in & out of the gym in under 40 minutes today and i was still able to get a good sweat going and good pump. i used to think there was a direct correlation between ‘good workouts’ and the amount of time spent at the gym but i have learned that is not the case (thank gosh)🙃.
here’s what i did:
•heel elevated squats
•incline pulsing lunges
•leg press (narrow foot placement)

Hey Fam! I just realized I'm dressed like a ninja!!🤣🤣 but its freezing and I love black! Don't judge me 😋 Just to update you, it's been 2.5 weeks since my 2nd SI Joint injection. My recovery is going nicely. It was a rough patch prior to having this procedure done as I was also having a very painful Fibromyalgia flareup that lasted 7 days with 24 hours of pain above level 10. As of right now I'm flareup free...and still working on stretches and strengthening my lower back and glutes. Today I worked on some CURTSY LUNGES, SQUATS, AND SINGLE LEG DEADLIFTS assisted via TRX. As mentioned in previous videos, I do train with my @vriksasanaposture band which is designed for SI Joint Syndrome and issues with Sciatica. This exercise combo really works your core while focusing on balance. Each day is a work in progress, but I will tell you that it feels good to be 99% pain free in my lower back. I do have some unpredictable days, where something feels out of whack...but I'm getting stronger! Sending positive vibes to all my chronic pain warriors!! Please stay strong and keep fighting!

💪🏽Hey guys! Hope your having a great day or night aha. So in this exercise i am doing ab crunches on a cable machine, also with the rope attachment. I am doing 3 sets of 20 repetitions and keeping my form good, for my technique make sure to keep your core engaged and don't lean down using your hips, use your abdominals and make sure to feel the burn. This will obviously help with your core strength and keep all your muscles sorrounding it tight!
⚽️So for the football side of things this exercise is vital to performing well on the field especially when running and sprinting, your core is also engaged when shooting and doing other movements so it is important to strengthen your abdominal muscles to make sure you don't injure yourself!

It’s crazy to see pictures of me from a year ago thinking i was super “fit”. i struggled and struggle so much with my diet, and it took me a lot of trial and error to realize your diet is 80 percent of getting in shape. I tried to deny it because i LOVE food! I would always try to eat healthy and give up a week later. I just started getting really down on counting my macros. Thank you to my trainer @sidmascardo for the guidance. I’ve never been so thankful. I’m no where near where i wanna be and i can’t wait to see where I’ll be in another 6 months and even a year.
