To the postcard I never received,
I remember when I first met you at the main market in Kaza. You were carefully tucked behind a stack of postcards in an old dusty shelf at this shop, the name of which I don’t remember. There were postcards that highlighted the vast Spiti panoramas, then there were ones that had photographs of the white leopard, some had captured the light of the Milky Way in them while the others had the iconic Key Monastery or the Buddha statue at Langza carved meticulously on their exterior. But you, you were the only one that got me so excited. You represented the Highest Post Office in the world, a simple hut made of mud in the middle of Hikkim, that did not nothing but connect people. You represented the strength of the mountain folk, the possibility of hope in a land that’s swamped with cold all year long, you represented a man’s life who only received messages and sent them ahead for more than three decades. I remember how it felt just looking at you and knowing that within a few hours, I’d be standing outside the same post office you represent.
It was a cold day a few weeks ago; I hadn’t gotten out of the house in quite a while. I decided to go through my hard drive to work on an overdue vlog when I randomly reached Travel> 2017> Spiti. I found you in a pile of digital photos and videos again just the way I found you for the first time. I wasn’t looking; you just appeared. I never received you but I had taken a picture of my message addressed to me. It was all I needed to get back to myself. I read it once, I read it twice and felt so received. I had thought I had lost myself over the last six months but a digital copy of you revived me. It made me realise my core was still me. That same cheerful girl who wrote that message on a postcard to herself sometime in June 2017, hadn’t really changed. She was still in there, somewhere, a little suppressed but very much present.
You revived me. You never reached me but I’m certain you’re somewhere you were supposed to be. So, thank you for helping me when I needed it the most. Thank you for urging me to continue doing what I do best.
There are few places in the world that leave you absolutely awestruck. The many amazing beaches of #Seychelles did just that. 🇸🇨🇸🇨🇸🇨 What was the place you visited that made your jaw drop?
P.S. that’s not me in the photo, it’s just a random guy trying to take a photo lol
Siquijor we have arrived, been exploring for a couple days now. Yesterday we got to check out and swim around in Cambugahay Waterfalls (about 30 minutes by motorbike from San Juan), and as you can see we had a great time😂 Couldn’t have asked a better way to spend pre-valentine’s/Valentines day, stuck on an amazing island with @frank_carr_ 😄
What are your plans for Valentine’s Day?? Whether you have a partner or you’re single, make the best of it! I see a lot of people bashing the day or being negative about it, why not make it fun?? Last year my best girlfriends and I all got dressed up, rented a party bus, went for a beautiful dinner together, then went out bar hopping cheersing to the single life haha! Have an amazing Valentine’s Day y’all ❤️
Today’s our last day on Siquijor.
We still have a huge agenda of islands to come:) check out my insta story for more info on where we’ll be and what I’m up to!!

Love is in the air, everywhere I look around
Love is in the air, every sight and every sound
And I don't know if I'm being foolish
Don't know if I'm being wise
But it's something that I must believe in
And it's there when I look in your eyes

Bucket list alert! The Great Wall.
Nahargarh Fort stands on the edge of the Aravalli Hills, overlooking a beautiful lake and the city of Jaipur in the Indian state of Rajasthan. Along with Amer Fort and Jaigarh Fort, Nahargarh once formed a strong defense ring for the city. The fort was originally named Sudarshangarh but it became known as Nahargarh, which means 'abode of tigers'. Before Jaipur was made the capital of Rajasthan, the majestic city of Amer stood tall as the capital of the Rajput. The city was bustling with activity and markets in the 1600s. Nahargarh fort along with Amer Fort and Jaigharh Fort had formed the defense to the then capital.
There is a food court and a restaurant at the top of the fort with an excellent view, Padao. The fort now also is home to the Jaipur wax museum and glass palace.
Nahargarh Fort is located around 6 KM outside the city of Jaipur. The best way to reach the destination is to hire a cab. Even autos go till the fort entrance. There are shuttles also available from the foot of the hill. ❤️Pics Repost From❤️ @jaipurite_girls_boys
