#Repost @outsmartmagazine, Houston’s LGBTQ magazine has published an article on the play we’re currently hosting produced by @horseheadtheatre. How awesome is that?!
Lines of sexuality are blurred to partly cloudy in The Flick, Annie Baker’s 2014 Pulitzer Prize-winning play that runs through December 15 at Houston Warehouse Studios @horseheadtheatre .
The show’s three main characters are coworkers in a falling-apart, second-run cinema that’s on the brink of closing—the sexually magnetic Rose, 24, who is presumed to be a lesbian; 35-year-old Sam, a shaved-headed “incel”; and nerdy Avery, 20, who could be classified as asexual. When Rose asks Avery whether he fantasizes about guys, he deflects the question.

Although plenty of things went wrong on that shoot we had a blast shooting this. Beside Directing I also color graded this and I remember trying my very best to get that #trueblood (any dark #hbo show) vibe. Funny thing is we didn’t really do what the assignment was (displaying injuries through a short #film ) but just off the strength of the film we got a B+ or something... can’t remember. Haven’t shot anything (besides photography) in a while but I’m looking forward to it.
