Day 4 of the #colormycloset challenge🤘🏼 .
Today's color is yellow and as you can probably guess, I don't own many yellow pieces 😜 But oversized tee + jean shorts seemed like a nice outfit for the #panamamicrobrewfest we're headed to🍺 What are your plans for tonight?
Burnout is not a positive way to describe working hard.
Exhaustion is not how you should feel living your life.
More is not better.
We are all overstimulated everyday. Our brains don’t stop. We’re planning next weekend by Monday morning. We’re trying to fit in working, the gym, cooking, housekeeping, parenting, a bit of sleeping - and then we wonder why we’re losing our patience. We are disappointed that we fall short somewhere, “Why can’t I just stick to my diet?”, “I need to be present with my kids”, “Maybe I’ll make it to the gym tomorrow.”
Guess what, you’re not the problem. You are one individual. Your brain has a limit. The problem is society has ignored those limits to the point we no longer think they exist.
It’s isn’t admirable to work yourself to your breaking point - physically or mentally.
If you are tired, rest.
You don’t need to maximize every minute of every day.
Stress is the leading cause of disease. The world is facing an epidemic of stress related chronic illnesses.
Sleep is how your cell’s repair themselves. Critical things happen when your body and mind are doing “nothing”.
Instead of being frustrated by your desire to do nothing, be happy that you’re hearing your body’s cries for help.
You won’t regret it.

I would say, for most of us the clutter in our homes directly correlates to our spending habits, which are highly influenced by marketing. It’s easier now than ever for companies to identify your current consumer behavior and even anticipate your future needs.
Here are some tips that have helped me reduce the marketing noise, as well as cut the clutter. I hope they will help you too🙂
1. Ditch cable Television. There are so many other great options now.
2. Unsubscribe from promotional emails. Better yet, don’t give the cashier your email or zip code.
3. Say, “no” to shopping for the fun of it.
4. Unfollow social media influencers who are constantly pushing new products.
5. Subscribe to ad-free radio.
6. Go to catalogchoice.org and opt out of retail magazine mailings.
7. Take a break from the shopping mall...like a looong break.
8. Limit your social media usage. This is HUGE! Social media is like one giant advertisement. Be very mindful of the content you are taking in.
9. Pair down to your essentials. Doing this allows you to realize you don’t need the other fluff to be happy.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I love teaching the teachers. We have the most incredible tribe of women guiding others on their own healing journeys. And together, we are so much stronger. •
We are going "minimalist" in this house, we're not hardcore, but we are making changes. What are some of the things you've done to go more "minimalist?"⠀
Everything out • Keep only what you use and love🍴
So I am super curious what everyone does when they're doing their job or their main focus! I have so many extra hobbies that don't involve fitness, personal training, or college. I absolutely love knitting and plants. Here I am showing a square I am working g on for a giant knit throw blanket and this is my Parlour Palm, Pamela. I also love to hike, fish, play with my dogs and to read inspiring books. (Let me know if you have any suggestions) so what do y'all love doing?!
Bîr gece halkın yanık bağrından çıkan ah ateşi, Bağdat’ın yarısını küle çevirir. O anda adamın biri ellerini havaya kaldırıp Allah’a şöyle dua eder; “Çok şükür, bu yangın dükkanıma zarar vermedi.”
🤟🏻🎱 #lessismore
Always an inspiration! Reposted from @kellimtennant - I have clear boundaries + if that makes you uncomfortable, I . DO. NOT. CARE. As a recovering people pleaser + perfectionist, this has been one of my hardest lessons. I used to say yes to everything because the guilt + shame in my story told me I had to. My worthiness was wrapped up in my ability to make other people happy + comfortable. Then my body broke down. I was bed-ridden, having anxiety attacks + completely unable to function. So now, I have very clear cut boundaries about how I spend my time, who I spend it with + what I allow in my bubble. My life is remarkably different. “No” is power. Take your life back. Stop living to make other people comfortable. It’s not your job, darling. You get to do you + stop apologizing for it. You don’t owe anyone anything. And with that, I’m taking a nap on a Friday + telling my friends they have to leave... because my body says that’s what she needs + I am here to honor her. 💫
