“It’s really about keeping perspective and not letting other people define you because they sure want to. Shoot, I try to encourage young people all the time to not let the world or outside sources define you because you are always going to have critics and naysayers and people that are going to tell you that you won’t, that you can’t, that you shouldn’t. Most of those people are the people that didn’t, that wouldn’t, that couldn’t. “Don’t be defined by the outside sources. You go after your dreams. Succeeding or failing is not making it to the bigs or it’s not necessarily fulfilling that. It’s having to not live with regret because I didn’t try. I just feel for all the young people who don’t go after something because they are so afraid of failing that you are going to live with a lot more regret than if you would’ve and you failed. “Healthy food is boring”
Honestly, yes it is a bit but I like ketchup so spruced this up. I don’t care if it has some sugar in. I just trained hard and 95% of my diet is whole foods! Play the game.
If you care about the Sugar Police coming to get you, make some nice hummus or use oils or balsamic vinegar.
Anyway, my real point is that even if it is a little boring, I find not having confidence in my body around women (well, one woman now), not wanting to take my shirt off at the beach, not being able to take on physical challenges, having no testosterone and not getting boners, not having a brain that can focus, not having the energy to create new projects, lying awake at night and only having the energy to watch TV....to be more boring.
Decide which is worse and fucks up more of your life goals.

How possible is it to change your life in as little as 5 minutes? Surely, in such a small period of time... you cannot achieve much.
Well not so fast, you fast-paced person, you!
You can achieve a lot in mere seconds, let alone minutes. (Just ask Usain Bolt)
So what can you do in 5 minutes to change your life?
For me, I think one of the best ways to spend 5 minutes is to simply step back and... THINK.
We rush through life as if we're chasing something. It's like we're hunting for prey that stays forever out of reach. One day bleeds into two, and then a week transitions into ten.
Entire years pass us by without us knowing it.
Goals come and go.
Projects start and finish.
One dream follows another.
It's exhausting, and if there's one things that gets affected as you rush through life like this it's your decision making.
You just... act.
no looking around.
But it's when you stop and look around that you see all that you have. Often, the answer you're looking for is right in front of you. Sometimes that solution you've searched for is right next to you.
By stepping back and escaping the chaos, you see it.
You open your eyes.
You open your mind.
You see what you need to see.
Speaking from experience, I am happier and more productive (let alone effective) when I give myself to reflect and ... THINK.
I've not done it as much late.
As I write this, I have a sleepless one year old.
The last year has passed in a flash.
It's been hard... but of course it has!
I haven't stopped.
I haven't been "present" nearly enough.
It affects you.
-- How you think.
-- How you feel.
-- How you act.
So if you want to change your life in 5 minutes, dedicate a little time to you and the sound of silence.
Speak to yourself and ask that inner voice questions. Hell, let that inner voice speak for once -- listen to it.
It's amazing what you find when you take the time to... THINK.
✨People will quit on you.✨ 👉You gotta get up every day + make sure you don't quit on yourself.
I'm in the home stretch of my 6-week program! 🙌 Super excited to wrap up and prep for the next one! I was going to do this same one again, but I'm switching it up and going to do a 3-week routine with a focuse on nutrition + portion control as well.
I LOVE the flexibility I have with my fitness programs!! I can do whichever is best for ME depending on my goals + other responsibilities.
