On cold rainy days I love to just sit & read a good book, unwind & self reflect on my goals & dreams. Most of them tend to be on self development books. Any chance I get to fuel my mind with uplifting, positive, motivational content i take it. Wether it’s a book, a pod cast, a YouTube video etc. Your brain is just like a muscle you have to train it every single day. If you want anything in this life it all starts from within YOU 👈🏼 your beliefs, your thoughts-create your reality & if you want anything to change you have to change yourself. Start taking action & do things every single day that will help get you to your desired goals. Create new habits that will help you grow, motivate & inspire. This book I’m currently reading is called “The Power Of Positive Thinking” by Norman Vincent Peale. You can find it at your local @barnesandnoble 👌🏼📖 absolutely amazing! #rainydays#cozy#goodreads#books#meditation#journaling#visionboards#setgoals#takeaction#becomewhatyouwanttocreate#mindset#beliefs#dreambig#abundance#selflove#selfreflect#grow
Rainy ☔️💦🌧 days are some of our favorite days for the parks! Throwing this one back to itty bitty babies in the rain last year ❤️
What are some of your rainy day tips for the parks!?
Mine is rainboots for puddle splashing 💦👌🏽
Had a lot of fun in the puddles! It’s felt like winter in LA lately! Today he got to wear a coat, rain boots, & use an umbrella! ☔️ 🤗 The video is part of a good workout 😂 he was doing of running back and forth through this big puddle, he had so much fun playing in some “nature” he said! 😊 #rainydays#beinakidisfun#itsthesimplethings
If you had asked me two years ago whether I would ever use essential oils, or consider the Young Living business opportunity, I would have told you no thanks! In fact, that was the exact answer I gave my friend when she asked me those questions, this time two years ago!
Little did I know, that in just 3 months time my answer would change from a ‘No thanks”, to an “Alright I’m in!” Fast forward two years and I’m realising what an amazing blessing it is that I walked into. It wasn’t just a decision to buy some oils, it was a complete lifestyle change. From clearing our homes of all the toxic products we had accumulated over the years and used on a daily basis, to supporting our bodies naturally, to being able to rely on these oils when we’re not feeling our best rather than having to take medications, to joining the most amazing and supportive community. A community that gathers around you in both your ‘business’ life and ‘oils life’, but also in your personal life. A community that actually cares about you as a person, and that will go the extra mile to support you wherever you need it.
It’s something I haven’t felt anywhere else for such a long time, and it’s something I’ve been craving. To see these girls as family even though I haven’t yet met most of them in person, is such a wonderful thing to be able to be apart of.
This happened at school yesterday. I got a really large crowd and i also got in trouble ;-; The water was almost knee deep and i walked through it.
This 4,449th day of parenthood.
I made it back in time to save the Abinator from a rainy walk home. So, I sat at in the car with 15 minutes to spare. Visions of being hero mom playing in my head... So, I wait. Most kids get on the buses lined outside the school. And wait. Oh there she is, with a group of kids. About a dozen of 'em, huddled together, hoods up, chatting and laughing. She, as happy as could be.
As she walked on by, with not a glance my way. She didn't notice me sitting there. For the first time I had to make a choice, to be seen or not. I let her carry on. Drove on home, alone.
In that moment, I chose to give her some of the greatest gifts a parent could; trust, space and independence. Although, my baby girl you'll always be; looks like a fine woman you're on your journey to make!
