Aunque algunos ya lo sabían, por las constantes preguntas, quiero contarles por qué mi desconexión de estos días 🥺
La semana pasada sufrí una peritonitis, por no haber sido atendida a tiempo, poniéndome en serio riesgo.
Ha sido una situación complicada y muy dolorosa a la vez.
Al inicio sentí una frustración muy fuerte, me preguntaba el por qué de todo esto, por qué mi cuerpo me falla, tenia tantas competencias cercanas a la vista 😭tantos proyectos!! Luego me detuve a pensar que todo tiene un propósito y que la vida destruye a tus planes cuando tus planes están a punto de destruirte a ti... Y es que si! Yo nunca paraba, si no estaba trabajando, estaba entrenado o en mis proyectos, estaba al límite, olvidando que también debo descansar, que no soy una máquina.
Ahora siento que la vida me está obligando a tener unas vacaciones forzadas para meditar, para disfrutar de mi familia y volver con más fuerza, para ESTAR MEJOR Y SER MÁS AMOR 💜
Muchas gracias a todos quienes han estado pendientes, con sus mensajitos, siento que yo no soy la que motiva, siento que lo verdaderos motivadores son ustedes.

We didn’t exactly eat the rainbow last night, but looking at this I see a few 🌈🌈. Are you hurting when you run?
Fix your movement first, there are exercises and protocols which will strengthen our weaknesses. I'm working on them too... Take a look at the display of complications in the diagram, of what may demonstrate your current problems when running.
Slow and controlled movements in correct planes. Most likely you'll find it's easier to do movements quicker without control due to muscle weakness. I can guarantee most of your issues can be fixed with exercise.
I will post later this week an example of practicing controlled exercises in correct planes and with proper technique, this can be easily implemented into any periodised routine to improve your Gait. 🧡

Tuesdays are a bit crazy for me (see 2nd photo) so I'm happy to be able to turn my commute into a cross-training session --and avoid the metro! I think I would have never known how much work parents put into raising children with special needs had I not become one. I could easily give up running, or at least marathon training, but there is something about the non stop madness (and the extended alone time) which appeals to me. I wouldn't be the same parent without running and I wouldn't be the same parent had my child been born with hearing. So here's to the madness 🙌
I fell in love with running not because I love to run, but because of what running brought me. It’s a supportive community where at races maybe people talk about times, but they are just happy you showed up. At running events, everyone is on the same playing field, literally. You don’t sit in the stands and watch the elites do their thing, you share the pavement with them, you feel what they felt, see what they saw. Fast forward a couple years and I have been able to find this in CrossFit but now get to also enjoy my love for weights as well. I get to surround myself with a community that supports my effort not my score and during this one time a year, we get to compete in the Open as a community. We get to participate in one workout a week for five weeks doing the same workouts as the fittest on earth. All along the way, there are boatloads of smiles and high fives to get us through it, together. I’m #intheopen are you with me?
